Dr. Charles W Lackey, DO

2017 I chose the breast center to have a biopsy. I had many before at other places. They were so nice there and caring. I saw Dr Lackey during the procedure and he was so calm and reassuring to me. I received the phone call the next day and it was Dr. Lackey tell me I had cancer cells. He spoke so calmly and I know his experience helped to know I was falling apart on the other end of this call. After what seemed like and hour but only a few minutes he stopped talking and said I know you didn't hear anything I said except the bad part, please call me back when you have questions. I then had to go back in to have and MRI of the other breast. Again, he called to tell me I also had cancer in that one too. I went again to see him for biopsy of both since we found new spots in side we already knew about. He took so much time and care, he explained what the MRI showed not only to me but also my grown children and husband. He was so full of kindness and grace that it could only pass… to us. I am so thankful this is the first person in line of my cancer journey. It started the process with confidence and peace. Thank you Dr Lackey and your kind staff.

I felt a lump in my breast and was able to get for a mammogram the next day. The staff was very friendly. The new breast center is very nice. Dr Lackey reviewed my results with me the same day. He has a good bedside manner.

Dr. Lackey has an excellent bedside manner. He is caring and compassionate. He spent a lot of time talking to me about my results. He answered all of my questions without making me feel silly. He has a great staff that are very friendly and helpful.
