The majority of the office staff is apathetic & matter-of-fact in demeanor & communication with patients. All patients are flatly instructed on where to go without escort, which is confusing for a first-time patient. From the exam room, I could hear the provider loudly discussing my medications with a medical assistant in the hall before ever entering. The provider was dismissive & barely listened to me, as evidenced by an observation made during the physical exam that I'd literally just discussed, because only half of what I said fit her predetermined diagnosis. I can forgive poor bed-side manner, but I won't tolerate a medical provider who phones it in & ignores my concerns. First & last visit to this office.

I have been seeing Dr. Lanning for over 25 years with never a complaint. He is always timely, pleasant and professional. He has found several health issues and sent me to specialist for further assessment. He has always provided me with excellent care.

Money hungry. Keep me coming back. Done a less invasive biopsy found nothing then wanted to do a more invasive. Found nothing. Why not do the more invasive to begin with or really at all. My insurance doesn't pay that great. Put me in debt a long time. Tried to get me to have rectocele surgery I don't need. My trustworthy urologist told me I didn't need the surgery at all. I will go to someone else from now on.

This was my first time visiting Dr. Lanning. I have the BRCA1 gene and he was very knowledgeable and put me at ease immediately. I would definitely refer him!
