Dr. Charles Donald Layman, MD

Dr. Layman doesn't like to spend at all answering questions. He seems anxious to leave as soon as he comes through the door. He sees many patients at the same time. He does talk to some longer than others. I always felt uncomfortable and frustrated and I'm not sure I received the care I needed. I am still having problems with my hand.

this Dr. was rude and uncaring, his office was dirty, Staff didn't seem to know what they were doing. I finally had to go to another surgeon to redo my surgery, I would not recommend Dr. Layman to anyone!

I broke a finger and over my several visits with him i was very unimpressed. His beside manners as well as office staff are quite poor. When testing my finger for strength I though he was going to re break the joint!During a visit he tossed my splint that had been specifically made for me. He took it out of the bio-hazard bin and asked if i wanted to reuse it. I'm sorry what?! Isn't that grounds for malpractice? Im just glad he is a hand Dr. and not my cardiac or something more serious Dr. I al

I was in desperate need of surgery on my wrist due to a huge ganglion cyst! Dr layman and staff took real good care of me like I was family!!!!! Not only that he took time out of his day to do my surgery for free because of my financial problems.So once again thanks Dr layman and Providence healh care for unmatched customer service and dedication to you're patients!!!!!!!!!!!!

The doctor is great, but the office staff is terrible. They are vague on details, lose things, and are accusatory at me when they make mistakes. Whether it's inefficiency, lack of organizational systems, or just bad attitudes, I won't be going back to Dr. Layman unless his assistant staff is replaced with competent, thorough, and careful professionals.

he was very rude and never really looked at the issue just walked into the room and said okay looks okay and walked out even when i was in so much pain he would not give me anything for it i will never request or use this guy again

Dr. Layman came highly recommended to me by several people, and I am extremely pleased with his amazing skills. He is one of the finest hand surgeons, bar none. I wouldn't trust my hands to anyone (and I'm having additional surgery with him). His office staff is kind, caring and very, very professional. I am completely dumbfounded as to any negative comments about this person or his staff. Dr. Layman is not rude, nor uncaring. He's a bit shy, but I'll take shy, any day, over incompetence.
