Dr. Charles Lydecker Lowe, MD

Dr Lowe saved my life. I consulted him for treatment of hepatitis C. To be thorough, he did an ultrasound of my liver and abdomen. He observed a mass on my left kidney and immediately referred me to a urologist. A CT scan showed a very large tumor encompassing my entire kidney. After a radical nephrectomy, it was confirmed that it was a stage 3-4 cancerous tumor. I had no symptoms and had Dr Lowe not been as thorough, the cancer would have eventually spread and taken my life. Thank you Dr Lowe.

I was at Dr. Loewe office 9:15 am appointment for my procedure and Dr.Loewe and all his staff treated me very very good.His team he put togather is a well oiled machine,they seem to work in harmony with each other.Thanks Frank.

This was my first visit with Dr Lowe. He is my husband's primary care physician. He is pleased with the care he receives and, after my first visit, I am also pleased with the care I received. Dr Lowe listened to my past medical history and helped with my future plans.

I was able to get in to see a Dr. quickly about a re-occuring case of bronchitis. Dr. Lowe listened to my history, examined me, sent me for a chest x-ray and gave me a prescription for cough medicine. He called me at home after my visit to discuss findings on the x-ray. All very professional and courteous. Holy Spirit Urgent Care staff was very good as well.

He seemed very disinterested in my health overall, and seemed to have difficulty understanding what medications I took. He spent more time on the computer than he did talking to me. The office staff was very nice and I understand there are other doctors available to see. Otherwise, I won't go back.

He does not listen to what you are saying. He likes to up the mg rather than find a solution or change a medication. Always ask your pharmacists if you have any allergies to any med that he subscribes. He needs help at times to decide what your problem is and how to handle it. Other than that, he is a great guy!

Dr. Lowe goes through the motions but there seems to be a depth of understanding that is missing. Overall, I would opt. to make an appointment with my pets vet. if I had the choice.
