I just received a letter stating that Dr. Manganiello is no longer practicing in Pittston. I am devastated. He was the BEST physician I have ever dealt with. He cares about his patients.

This doctor is a real doctor who took his Hippocratic oath to hart and follows it to a T. He has been our family doctor for many, many years and he knows exactly how to help us while still keeping track of our underlying conditions at the same time. He always has time to listen to your problem fully and if it is beyond his expertise he refers you to specialises who can help you and keeps track of your progress. He. Been trying for months to get in touch with Manganiello's office but every time I call it either goes to office answering machine or their answering call service. When reaching the latter, they say Dr. Manganiello does not accept calls to the office or take messages, making it impossible to reach the office. I asked when is Dr. Manganiello's office staff available to take calls, and the operator said he was not sure. The answering service said there's 1 exception they would patch the call through: "a life or death emergency." When I asked what constitutes "a life or death emergency," the operator said "a true emergency." I said, why not just call 911. He was silent and then got irate with me. I then asked to speak to the supervisor. They put me on with the owner and he corroborated the operator. When I pressed the issue, saying why I needed help right away, he said when they had put calls through to the office the doctor yelled at him. I'm left not knowing how to reach this office.… It's a terrible feeling.

Dr. Manganiello cares for many of my family members. He is caring, concerned and compassionate as well as very knowledgeable and approachable. You can tell that him and his staff really care about their patients.
