Dr. Charles Reese Mead, DDS

Dr. Mead is by far the best, most caring Dentist I have EVER had the pleasure of being under his care! I have been to a lot of Dentists in my day and NEVER has one even come close to the Care and Compassion I have been shown by Dr. Mead and his staff. I would recommend him to anyone who has had issues with a dentist in the past. This is the most honest, caring, compassionate and gentle Dentist out there, bar none!

I write this review to help anyone choosing a dentist. It is a stab in the dark and if you miss the mark the consequences can be life long. Dr. Mead is THE dentist to choose. His work is excellent. The novocain shot was by far the gentlest one I've ever gotten. My crown is amazing. It feels exactly right in my mouth. I have another crown by a dentist in my home state of Hawaii (yes, I fly to LHC, AZ to see Dr. Mead) and it feels "odd", too big, ill-fitted. Let me not forget the staff; kind, reassuring and professional. The hygienists are sweet and gentle while being thorough and quick. You can't grow new teeth so make sure to put the ones you have in the best care you can find. You found it!

First met Dr.Mead in 1991 when he made a house call---can you imagine?---to adjust the dentures of my infirm and debilitated step-father so Pops could eat during his declining months. Few years later I had my own emergency with a broken/abscessed molar whilst visiting my then widowed Mom. He fit me right into his busy schedule, skipping his own lunch. Never have I before or since encountered such compassion......and from a dentist no less!! His staff are cheerful yet caring, seemingly devoted to their employer AND, or likely because of, his patients. They were all especially kind to my Mom, who remained one of Dr.Mead's 'regulars' for 25 years until she became bedridden at age 99. I have always appreciated his thoughtful regard and shall evermore remain grateful. He's a pretty accomplished and astute dentist, too. Thumbs up!!
