Dr. Metzger is the reason my hands work today. I had trigger finger in all 10 fingers, which is very unusual. The county medical system in Houston did surgery on 2 fingers on my left hand, poorly. I have scars and dupuytren's contracture from the surgery preformed by the county medical system. I went to Dr. Metzger to consult a good hand surgeon about my trigger finger issues. In 2012 Metzger did trigger finger release on all 5 digits of my right hand and released a compression in my right wrist. The surgery went great! Heal time was minimal and only tiny incision lines remain. In 2013, I fell and fractured my left wrist. The doctors set my wrist so poorly that it was 10° off. I again went to Dr Metzger for help. He reset my wrist in hopes that we could straighten out the damage the other doctors caused. Sadly, we were unable to fix the damage by resetting the wrist. So in 2014 Dr. Metzger re-broke my wrist and put in a titanium plate. My wrist is perfect.

I mentioned while asking for an appointment that I had been a previous patient of Dr. Pirela-Cruz who relocated to AZ. The receptionist said that because of that Metzger would not see me. I said it was years ago. She said "Doesn't matter." So much for him. He should have his license pulled.

Show up for a appointment, on time, and was informed the Dr is behind schedule 1 to 1 1/2 hour behind schedule! Unacceptable!

I am a Veteran. I have met Doctors that date arrogant, Dr Metzger is by far the most arrogant Doctor I have met. I have never seen this man introduce himself, he expects you to know him y sight. His office staff must take their ques from their employer, for they are just as snobbish.

With All his so call experience and still did NOT know how to perform a surgery. After 3 surgeries and taken over $30,000 payment and didnt do nothing right had to go to Phoenix not only to fix his bad job and fixed the problem. Shame on him! I hope God will punish his bad actions.
