Dr. Charles E Montoure, DDS

Dr. Montoure graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point with a major in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Water Resources. Following which he entered Marquette University School of Dentistry, graduating with honors in 1987. Honors awarded while in dental school included the Scholastic Achievement Award from Psi-Omega Dental Fraternity, induction into Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and recognition from the American Association of Orthodontists via the Award for Exceptional Interest in the Development of the Oral-Facial Complex. Dr. Montoure then directly entered the Orthodontic Residency Program at Marquette, completing a Master of Science Degree and Certificate of Orthodontics in 1989.
Continuing Education
Dr. Montoure is an avid supporter of Marquette University's Department of Orthodontics and has volunteered his time and resources by providing dental care to the people of Honduras through the Marquette Chapter of Global Medical Brigades. Of …course, given his passion for providing excellent orthodontic results, Dr. Montoure far exceeds the minimum requirements for continuing education. In addition, Dr. Montoure enjoys his membership in a local dental study club, as well as the local chapter of the internationally known Seattle Study Club.
In the Orthodontic Community
Since arriving in Green Bay in 1990, Dr. Montoure has been an active member of the American Dental Association, the Wisconsin Dental Association, and the Brown-Door-Kewaunee Dental Society, including volunteer efforts to the underserved in our community. Also an enthusiastic member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Midwest Society of Orthodontists, Dr. Montoure is honored to serve on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Society of Orthodontists in the present capacity of Secretary/Treasurer.
Fully Board Certified in 2001 and a member of the College of Diplomats of the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Montoure has dedicated his professional career to providing the highest-level orthodontic care to his patients. To this end, he simply will not accept anything less than giving his absolute best to each and every patient under his care. Dr. Montoure has been repeatedly selected by his peers for inclusion in the "Best Dentists in America in the Field of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics."
Outside the Office
On a more personal note, Dr. Montoure's time out of the office revolves around his faith, family, and friends. Blessed with a wonderful and talented wife, daughter, and two sons, time spent together is cherished. Heading north to their cabin to enjoy the out of doors is a favorite pastime of the family. Hiking in mountains, downhill skiing, and occasional skin and scuba diving are also high on their list of activities. Dr. Montoure feels very strongly that the support system offered by faith, family, and friends has provided the foundation of his orthodontic career.
