Dr. Charles Fisher Morgan, MD

Be cautious of their billing procedures and their front staff. He doesn't spend much time with the patient and they dont even dilate the eyes... parents have to do it prior and bring them in. His bed side manner is not good either.Very bad experience.

Dr Morgan is supposed to be pediatric doctor but he has no patience around kids. His explanation on the diagnosis is poor. I had to ask him questions couple of times to understand his mumblings. I was surprised to see magazine clippings on his wall stating best doctor few years ago. Clearly his manners have deteriorated in the last few years.

He put you at ease as a parent with a newborn. He is confident but not arrogant. His office is a distance from our home, but it is worth every minute driving there.

An amazing physician for my children. He takes the time and the kids like to go to their appointment.

I will start by saying I never wrote a review in my life, but they got me so frustrated that it's my only outlet for their practices. They charge you above what your insurance accepts without full disclosure upon service. Their office manager Melissa does not adjust any bills for uncovered services even when they acknowledge that they are an in network doctor and accepted your co-pay. Very unreasonable on the billing end. Over peanuts they lost thousands of dollars worth of business from my family over a lifetime.

I am sure Drs. Morgan and Chen are smart and have helped many patients. But after ten years in their care treating strabismus and amblyopia, by child now has permanent double vision that can never be corrected or resolved, not with prisms, not with surgery, not with anything. They never did adequate tests to confirm my child's eyes were working together. Being a child, my child never realized seeing double wasn't normal and so never spoke up. A doctor who does this stuff for a living ought to be able to figure this out before it is too late to do anything about it. There are simple tests (random dot 3-D stereogram tests, for one) that take seconds to do, and which would have highlighted a problem. They never did one.

Dr. Morgan was able to give my child a correct diagnosis however he never warned us about or monitored her for side effects from the medication he administered. His bedside manner, informing patients/parents of testing/medication, and follow through are poor but his knowledge and diagnosing abilities are good.

My son has special needs and was quite frightened of having to see an eye doctor. It was amazing to see Dr. Morgan put him at ease and talk him through the process. He was kind and compassionate and explained our options. We are so grateful to have found him. I would highly recommend him.

This was my first visit to Dr. Morgan (routine exam for glasses) I saw him in the Englewood office and I was completely impressed! The office was modern and clean; the staff was VERY sweet and efficent, I was plesantly surprised :) Although Dr. Morgan is known for pediatrics I felt postive about his diagnosis and treatment plan. He made me feel at ease and was not condescending at all. I found him through my VSP plan and planned to see him only for the updated glasses prescription but I have to say I was so impressed I believe I have found a new eye doctor-period! I had been seeing what is considered "one of the top 5" in Bergen County for many years but he falls WAY short to Dr. Morgan. I HIGHLY recommend this doctor :) I was lucky to find him!

I went to the office in clifton, it's too dirty, dusty and crowded. The board where my son has to read was dirt as well. dust was setteled on the equipments and in the eye glass shop. the doctor spent <8 mins and was hurrying to see other patients.
