These comments are long overdue. In short - Dr. Norris has saved my life and I will forever be indebted to him and the fantastic staff at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Boston. My Story - I first met Dr. Norris in 1995 at Dana Farber Cancer Institute after having dealt with a Leukoplakia problem on my tongue that would not go away. After repeated unsuccessful removal procedures here in the Southcoast area, pathology tests there eventually proved it was cancer. By request I was referred to Dr. Norris in Boston. After a thorough examination, that year Dr. Norris performed a partial glossectomy on my tongue to remove the cancerous area. Every year since my operation, I have visited him for oral checkups and xrays. Every time a suspicious problem has surfaced he has addressed and resolved my problem. Over the many years of experience with Dr. Norris, I always have found him to be a caring and thorough physician who relates to me like a family member who truly cares for my continued health… and well being. Dr. Norris is a kind and caring man as well as an excelllent surgeon. Surgery on parotid cysts and tumors can result in facial nerve damage... and this man will do all that he can to save a patient's facial nerve during surgery!

after 11 months and 5 visits complaining during each visit of excrutiating nasal pain i was finally given a cat scan that revealed my squamous cell ca had returned.i have never been so disapointed in my life.

i have an unusual type of thyroid cancer that was misdiagnosed at my local hospital and the treatment failed. dr norris performed surgery and made sure i had all proper follow ups. his assistant joanne is great too. i would not be here today if not for dr norris.

Dr. Norris an exceptual surgeon just an expert in field of thyroid surgery for my thyroid cancer completely cleared my tyroid out clean and minimal scar. wonderful doctor.
