Dr. Charles Finley Pace, MD

I was seen by Dr. Pace at Presbyterian Pain and Spine , Jan 2020. He was kind, easy to talk with and offered me some options in my treatment. I received several cervical facet injections. The treatment was successful. I recommend him highly for his empathy and skill.

Have been seen by this physician on three occasions. Argumentative, rude, combative, unprofessional, and not well educated. Stay clear of this physician! He causes pain, and anxiety!

Dr. Pace never sent in the paperwork my insurance needed and still hasnt after years of myself and he hospital trying to get ahold of him to no avail. Now I'm stuck with a massive bill. What was completely covered is now costing me almost $6000 because he didn't provide the proper paperwork to my company. Also I was never scheduled or seen for a follow up and still in pain.

I experienced a terrible accident falling twenty feet and breaking my back along with several other serious injuries eight years ago. I was blessed to have an excellent neurosurgeon ( Dr. Phillip Shields ) put me back together. Since that event I've been to several "specialists". I can put all the time I've spent being examined by other specialists and double that it wouldn't equal half the time Dr. Pace spent examining and questioning and explaining different procedures that can be used to offer pain relief and give me back a quality of life I'm looking for. Dr. Pace demonstrated and explained and made sure I understood every option I have at the present time and what other options would be available in both near and far in the future.I used to build houses and I really appreciate his " ground- up " custom plan. If it was available I'd give Dr. Pace ***** five stars fo sho!!

First of all, if your ever have to go to the ER and he is your doctor expect the ER doctor to send you home, per Paces, instruction even if you can't walk. Pace told the ER doctor to give me more morphine and have me make an appointment on a weekday since this happened on Saturday. Thank goodness, when the ambulance had to come get me again on Monday morning this other ER doctor said this is unacceptable and got me to the hospital where they did emergency surgery. He is not only a horrible doctor but a horrible human being and I can barely call him human.

Unfortunately if you are not the perfect patient, and if you have an opinion about how you should be cared for, your care will be subpar. Mr Pace fails to fill scripts ontime, which often leads to running out of medication. if you are unwilling to have epidural injections you will never hear from him again. Forget leaving phone messages, he doesn't bother to return them. I am so disappointed in this failure of a doctor.

He is an amazing Doctor and knows his stuff! I believe he is highly trained in his field. I do not know why anyone whould rate him as just "Good". He and his staff are an A++ in my book.

I have only the highest opinion of Dr. Pace. He has been nothing but professional in the three years I've been seen in his office. His diagnosis and treatment have been very successful. The staff always remember me whether it's been two weeks or 18 months between appointments. When they moved offices they were very patient with me, giving me directions over the phone block by block until I was at their door. I can get my appointments within 1-2 weeks of calling.

Dr. Pace is an excellent pain specialist. He was very kind and understanding to my conditions. I felt very comfortable with him. Very knowledgeable in his field. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
