Dr. Charles Frederick Quest

Dr. Quest has been my primary since 1981, and my wife's primary since 2001.He is an above average Medical Professional in all areas of vital importance.He has performed minor surgery on my face in 1981 with 22 stitches (absolutely no scar), and the same with my 7 year old son's lip in 1982. He currently does our blood work and without exception "no bruising". He has either resolved or referred me for digestive, ENT, and injury problems.

Dr. Quest is a great doctor. I have ssn him several time ove 25 years and have always felt that he listen to what I was saying.

I have major complaints. He used to be our families doctor and one evening he called to tell me what the results of our sons blood test were. I could not understand anything he was saying, he slurred his words, the only reason I knew it was him was I recognized his voice. I had to call back the next day and ask the woman that answered the phone what the results were. I told her what had exactly happened the evening before. Another time I was the patient, I went in to find out why my head hurt so bad, he said that it looked as though I had a sinus infection. He leaned against me resting his genitals on my knee and starting pushing as he started his examination. When I told the office that I never wanted him to be our doctor again, they tried and tried to find out what had happened that would make me say that, I would not tell them. This is the first time that I am telling anyone outside of my family about the visit I had with him. It was sometime later that he lost his license for a… while.

I've been a patient with Dr. Quest for over 15 years.He is a doctor who really cares about his patients. He takes the time to examine what physical ailments you have, but he realizes that physical ailments often are manifestations of deeper problems such as stress, etc. and he gives the patient time to open up and describe what is bothering you.Dr. Quest also has a small surgery in his office and he is most excellent at stitching up wounds (I had an accident which split my scalp open and rather than go to the ER I drove myself from Daly City to Half Moon Bay to his office where I was taken care of IMMEDIATELY!). I also have used Dr. Quests services for my employees when they had minor accidents and the results were excellent.

If I weren't living in such a small community, and my health weren't generally good,I would NEVER remain with Quest. I read a LOT about medical news and he disagrees with what I have found.I find myself calling my former Dr.in Los Angeles for advice and he is a great physician and I think of him as a friend and a true professional.
