Dr. Charles Lindbergh Ragan II, MD

Had an involuntary week stay at INBH where Charles is currently employed. Swore up, down, left and right I didn’t have Bipolar disorder but put me on Bipolar medication. He petitioned to the state to keep me a followings 14 days and I begged the staff to transfer me to Sacred Heart. Finally told him exactly what he wanted in order to get to out from his custody and receive legal help. When discharging, I received a Bipolar diagnoses with a med list (no official prescriptions) containing only half of the medications I spent a week being on. They didn’t confirm any diagnoses with my current counselor, even after being inquired by her. Super unprofessional, will abuse you ignore you don’t agree with him. He called me ignorant when I voiced my concerns on my treatment. Charles yells in office and chooses to walk away from you if he disagrees.

Dishonest doctor who will twist the words of any person, misquote them and put words in their mouths to have them committed. He will say and do anything if he can make a buck off of it.

I have been seeing Dr Ragan for the past nine months for my depression, anxiety and bipolar disorders. Even though we have not found THE medication for me yet, he is an amazing listener and he truly cares about his patients. I see him once or twice a month for a med check and those half an hours seem to fly by. I believe this is because he truly listens to my problems and what has been going on with me and he actually doesn't want to prescribe medication to any of his patients, he's told me, he wants them to get better on their own even though they might start oUT on meds. I completely recommend him to anyone who's had any sort of problems along the line that I have(: he is the best (:

He is extremely unprofessional with a degrading attitude towards the patient. If you want to have a voice in your care plan, do not go to this MD. He is untrustworthy and unethical in his disclosures.

This doctor is cold and unfeeling. He is in the wrong field and should retrain. Very cold and not friendly. It would serve people better to pick a hamster as a doctor.

I think this Dr is really good at degrading a person, impossible to talk to, judgmental and demeaning, he has a huge ego and makes assumptions without giving a second thought to the fact that you are there to seek help. He is consistent at being intimidating and has no respect, by saying he can not trust what I say as a patient to be true and he has seen me three times and each time I felt more discouraged and confused! I would recommend him to no one, he is someone who knows everything and offers nothing but put me downs and makes cruel remarks to disturb a person who wants to get any help. He is a liar, he told me he would never sweep me under the rug, he simply opens the door and told me he would not help me! He said he gave me medicine simply as favor, but he would not help me any longer. He said he had things to do and people to see and not to come back him, he made false accusations towards upon each visit. I have never been treated so unkindly by a physician, wasted my time… thinking he would be willing to help me.

Im not sure what to say about him. I think he means well. I just get really frustrated with him. He is constantly trying to read between the lines. Always asking me if i meant something else. No! I meant what I said, thats why i said it. He refuses to let me try the medication that I need because "the street value is so high." well that idgaf about the street value. Im not going to be selling it, im going to be taking it. I througt if I gave the other one a try and it didn't work he would compromise with me. But nope. He's effing up my health because of his preconceived judgements. So I will continue with what im on while I find a new dr.

I would never recommend Dr Ragan to anyone of any age. He is unprofessional and rude. I left appointments feeling worse than when I arrived. Find a different doctor.
