Dr. Charles Howard Rose, MD

This is by far the worst receptionist and doctor assistant I have had to deal with. They are the most incredibly rude and argumentative people possible. I was told I was wrong even after checking with my insurance and the pharmacy. I waited for a month for a prior authorization, which all my previous Doctors offices have been able to take care of independently. When I called Kinsey she rudely told me that I should’ve known it was my responsibility, while never being told that. Every point I tried to make was only retorted with argumentative replies essentially calling me stupid for not magically knowing this. The only reason to put up with those insufferable people is because of Dr. Rose

After my wife and I had been his patients for 13 or 14 years he called me at home and launched into a hateful, bigoted, vitriolic diatribe, saying I have been rude to his receptionist! I did not know what he was talking about and when I tried to ask he hung up on me. I was deeply hurt and shocked and dismissed him as our primary healthcare provider at our next virtual appointment

I have been a patient of Dr. Rose for several years. I recently have gone through a lot of trauma in my family. Dr. Rose has been very caring and has sat through a lot of teary visits. He has never hurried me through my appointment, just asking me how he can help in his caring and calm demeanor. His sincerity and genuine caring has helped to guide me through the steps of recovery. He is indeed committed to his patients and I sincerely thank him for this. There are not very many doctors this day and age who give the individual and sincere care he gives to his patients. His office staff go out of their way to make appointments to accommodate my needs whether it is currently or a while down the road.They too are kind and compassionate and make the doctors visit a good experience. We were just knew to the area and were trying to get situated and wanted to find a good doctor, and we met some people who recommended this place, so we gave them a call and the receptionist was EXTREMELY RUDE... never met anyone that rude, we told her that we were trying to find a doctor and we knew some one who went there, and I asked her if the doctor was seeing new patients and she said, “ahh, no(very sassy/rudely)”. So I asked if she could recommend anyone else for us to see, so she said that new patients can go to IU hospital... very rude. That was very unprofessional and truly reflects the office as a whole.

I have doctored with Dr. Rose a number of years. I have always left his office with good information, hope and I have always been able to discuss anything with Dr. Rose. In fact he always starts my appointment by asking what I want to discuss. I might add that he has a wonderful staff.

Dr. Rose is an excellent doctor, thorough and ethical

It's hard to find an doctor who isn't in one of those large groups. I'm glad I held out and find Dr. Rose. He really seems to care and takes his time to listen. Instead of rushing you out, he always ask if there's anything else you have questions about. He's also very good with complicated cases. I am very luck to find him!

I have been with Dr. Rose for about 5 years. I hope to never have to change doctors as there is no one to compare to Dr. Rose. He listens well, allows as much time as necessary and included me in decision making.
