Botched surgery that should have been sent elsewhere. Nazareth hospital should be closed and started over. Nursing care is beyond poor it's dangerous.

My primary doctor recommended I go see Dr. Schafer when I spoke to her about my concerns regarding an ingunal hernia I've had for a few years. I figured I had it long enough and wanted it repaired before it became an emergency. Setting up my appointment was fast and simple. I was seen within a week of my call. I gave 2 stars for "spends time with me" because the visit was quick but not rushed. I had all the info I needed and was given the opportunity to ask questions. He was very nice and personable but we didn't do much chatting or go into any details on the procedure or recovery because I had already researched it. But I'm sure if I wanted said info he would've taken the time to go over it. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. His bedside manner is great if you like a doctor who is to the point. He's nice and courteous which is all the bedside manner I need. The day of the procedure he was early, double checked everything in my chart and asked if I had any questions or concerns and… away we went. The procedure went great. I was feeling much better than I thought I would after surgery. And the recovery has been faster than I expected. I would gladly recommend Dr. Schafer to anyone looking to get this procedure.
