Dr. Charles Schlosser, MD

Has any one been able to get there records from him? if so how did you acquire them?

Under another dr.s care and he retires, dr s supposedly is taking over... nurse is extremely condescending and rude, tells me I only have “simple arthritis” not knowing history or anything and turns out didn’t even see the dr. (thank GOD) because insurances haven’t accepted him yet Needless to say I discharged myself the following day and 2 weeks later get a threatening letter saying they discharged me for being non compliant Funny how I can do that when I’m not his patient yet and hasn’t seen me. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT GO HERE, unless you want to be treated with indignity and disrespect.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Schlosser for A few years.he is caring and puts your needs first. He’s also A Great Doctor, that’s has moved on in his Life. As we should move on in own Lives. He’s A Wonderful Doctor and over the years has become my Friend. Take care of your Pairents as you have Always Done. Hope Everything goes well... SAM

Does anyone know how I can get my medical records? And any recommendations for a new pain management doctor?

Are any of Dr. Schlosser patients having trouble getting your records so u can see a new Dr.? Please tell me if you know how to get them. I can't find a number for him. He was a great Dr. For me. He treated my interstitial cystitis after my urologist retired. I will miss him & his staff. But I need my records & by law they have to be giving. ??

I have been seeing Dr. Schlosser for many years. He’s very caring and Great doctor. Life changes for all of us in many ways.

My original doctor who btw was EXCELLENT left the office that I have been going to for 5 YEARS. Schlosser HASNT EVEN SEEN MY FACE YET and has already cut my meds without even the professionalism to come to the room and tell me why!!! The NPR came in and said "He doesnt prescribe that for your medical issue" with all the care and concern of a stone. Now to explain why I am madder than a slapped rattlesnake. I fought military medical for 6 YEARS to take my health problems seriously. When they finally did, they sent me to a pain doctor who before even saying Hello, spat out I dont prescribe narcotics( the only words I had said to this jack### was Good Morning Sir)! He then put me on a "non-narcotic" med that sent me from work by AMBULANCE! So, then I went to Dr Ram, who sat down and discussed my health issues. What had been tried and failed and began WITH ME to find out what did work. And did so successfully. For ONCE in my life I had a doctor that actually cared about my quality of… life!! I go in today, which also is THE DAY BEFORE I HAVE A MAJOR SURGERY OUT OF STATE, and I find out that 2/3 of my medication has been DISCONTINUED and that he has decided he can do INJECTIONS IN MY HEAD for my Deblitating Barometric Pressure Induced Migraines without even the respect of asking me how I feel about it! I have had this 1 of my many health issues for 33 Years(longer than this dude has been a dr, so yea, I have Smidgin more experience and knowledge about this I would say) ! I have been poked, prodded, CT'd, MRI'd, XRAY'd, had every, pill, potion, and natural remedy known to man poured down my throat till my PCM finally said "There is literally nothing left for us left do than treat you for the pain. Dr Ram did that, so that I could live life again without sitting in the dark puking, crying, head rapped in ice packs, and blurry visioned for days. And this "Doctor" has cut that off now without even seeing me. Which leads me to trust him about as much as a drink from Bill Cosby! Not to mention, I HATE needles, and Dr Ram RESPECTED that and ME, in that he would only do injections on other parts of my body, if I requested them, when the pain was more than just meds could handle. And now I am forced to be without my migraine meds for 8 weeks till I can see this guy, because the statement i received was that med was not indicative for treating migraines, AND YET IT WAS DOING A FINE JOB OF TREATING MY MIGRAINES!! Not to mention 6 herniated discs in my back and neck, spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, degenerative arthritis in both hands and shoulders, a torn ACL and Miniscus, torn rotator cuff, and sciatica down both legs! Needless to say, it will not be a happy meeting. I will most likely be calling tricare as well as searching to find where my doctor is now practicing so that I can be referred BACK TO A DOCTOR THAT ACTUALLY GAF ABOUT HIS PATIENTS AS HUMANS, and doesn't have a superiority complex!! Way to go in making a First impression Schlosser. You should write an article about "How to lose Patients before you have even met them!". And after reading these reviews, I have seen that there is foundation to my assumptions. May you one day have to crawl a mile in the shoes of an actual pain management patient.

Dr. Schlosser was a wonderful Dr. Very compassionate, caring, helpful!!. I will miss having him as a Rehabilitation Dr. If Mississippi was closer , I'd continue to go to him. He loved his job, family & football!! Spoke of them alot! He is very helpful, treated you like you were human!! Not like a few other Dr's I been to in my lifetime, as if you were there to get Drugs!!.I wish him & his family, Good luck in his next move in life! Thanks for being my Dr. & For listening to all my family passing away. You were like family to me. He will always be the Dr. I enjoyed seeing.

As a patient of over 3 years (my own fault for seeing him that long) this man had zero actual knowledge of my medical issues, history, and how to treat properly. To make things worse, he and his staff suddenly shut down his office so he could relocate to another state. Complimented by a cancellation of appt I was never told of, and having him call in half the normal mg and amount of medication I normally receive. Connect the dots as this man is a hack.

True what the others have said about him. Gave no notice of closing his office. Gave us a lower dose of meds did not even see us on our last appt. Not true his wife and children are still in New Orleans, they don’t want to live in MS. He had to take a job in another state too scared. I heard he was sued. Also, only gave people one doctor to be referred too.
