I am so grateful to have had Dr. Slack as my surgeon. He is a talented surgeon and truly cares about his patients. He is a true professional with a very calm and friendly demeanor, this helped to make me feel confident with my procedure every step of the way. Dr. Slack and his staff do not disappear and are always around pre-op and post-op. During my recovery Dr. Slack spoke to my Husband he was accessible all the time and more important when we needed him most. Dr. Slack and his staff are a well oiled machine that know what they are doing and are also able to give that personal friendly interaction so few offices give anymore. Dr. Slack and his team are more than I could have expected. His consultation was thorough and honest. He gave clear pre and post op instructions that made everything simple. He gave me the option of narcotic or non-narcotic pain control, and I opted for the non-narcotic route. I wouldn’t have done it any other way. I have had limited pain, and the team at the Texas Health Surgery Center was outstanding. Dr. Slack has been available to me at a moments notice when I have had questions. I’m only 4 days out from surgery, and I am moving around better than I expected. I can’t wait to see the results weeks from now. I am so happy that I chose Dr. Slack for my mommy makeover!

Dr.Slack and his team are absolutely phenomenal. I’d like to share my story! I went in wanting a breast augmentation and as expected was extremely nervous. From the first phone call I had already felt so much more comfortable. When I saw Dr.Slack at my consultation he was very thorough and answered all of my questions. He explained the process, long term effects and even the worst case senerios. He took his time listening to what I wanted and letting me know what he could do to reach my expectations. Debbie his treatment coordinator was very helpful answering all my questions about the treatment and finances. The day of the surgery I was still very nervous and unsure of what to expect. I met with Dr. Slack before hand and he once again made me feel reassured. The next thing I knew I was on my way home! My biggest concern was post operative pain. If only I knew, the post operative pain was not what I had expected it to be. The first day or two my muscles were a little sore but nothing… more than a couple hours at the gym. Within the first 5 days I was not even in need of any pain medication. I am beyond amazed at how easy and painless the process is. I am complete satisfied with the final results and am so happy I chose Dr.Slack! I would highly recommend him to any and everyone!!

Dr Slack and his staff are very inviting and explain everything to help make your decision easier to understand. Dr Slack’s bedside manner makes you feel very comfortable and he explains every detail. I highly recommend Dr. Slack to all my friends and family. I am so happy I did something for myself.

Dr. Slack performed a breast lift on me two months ago. I am so happy with the results! I wish I had done this years ago. Not only do I feel better about my appearance, but many of the aches and pains I had attributed to my desk job or middle age have disappeared. Through my arduous quest to find the best plastic and reconstruction surgeon in Dallas, I was blessed to come across Dr. Charles Slack. A leader in his field who has an eye for perfection, style, art and beauty...yet understands the importance of setting realistic goals for himself and his patient's. Many physicians today try to cross sell and up sell their patients additional procedures (unethical, but they do it) while adding to their fears and insecurities...playing on their emotions. Dr. Slack gave us realistic expectations and laid down the risks without sugar coating it. He is truly one of the most compassionate people we have ever had the pleasure of getting to know. He is a good and decent man who genuinely cares for his patient's and what they are going through. He desires a stable trusting and comfortable relationship with his patients due to the sensitive nature of their concerns and illnesses. He spent a considerable amount of quality time with my husband and I… before and after the procedure. He became a friend...not just a doctor. Which I believe to be of utmost importance when you consider that you are putting your life in someone else's hands. Most doctors spend a total of 20 minutes total with their patient (before and after visits combined) and then 2 minutes as he greets you one more time before you are put under. Ask any person going in for a major surgery and they will unanimously tell you that getting to know their surgeon on a more personal level reduces anxiety, fear and stress and aids in the recovery process. Dr. Slack helped me a great deal. He did a breast reconstruction after my cancer surgeries. He did a good job and helped me through the healing process. Dr. Slcak is very kind and patient.

I had a breast augmentation by Dr. Slack 10 years ago and it still looks great. When it came time for a blepharoplasty, there's no one else I would trust. His staff is fantastic and he's always willing to answer any questions you have.
