Dr. Charles H Sohn, MD

My husband had a heart attack six years ago, he didn't know he was having a heart attack he had all the symptoms of the flu so he didn't go in right away. Sohn was in no hurry to put a stent in his heart thank god there was another doctor in there with him, Sohn thought my husband was unconscious, the other doctor told him to hurry up and get this done. Sohn told him what's the hurry he is a dead man he waited too long, and he was going to put a stent that was too small the other doctor told him to use a larger stent again Sohn told it's not going to matter he is a goner. The nurse was going to do a tracheotomy on my husband, he grabbed her arm and said don't even try it, Sohn about had a heart attack of his own, the other doctor just grinned. My husband told him he heard every word he said and do what the other doctor said and hurry up. That's how much Sohn cares about his patients, he doesn't. He finally called me and told me my husband wouldn't make it though the night. I… was with him he was awake and alert. I told him "What" he said it's not my fault he waited too long to come in. Seven days later my husband was released from the hospital Sohn didn't want to do anything but put a defib in my husband, he stayed with him a few months, and we noticed all his patients looked like death warmed over, he changed to a different cardiologist he didn't understand why Sohn had him on Baby meds. He just wanted to make his money on putting in a defib. Bottom line six years later he just went through a Cardio Nuclear stress test and the cardiologist found nothing wrong he is doing fine. No signs of any further heart attacks St Agnes Cardio Rehab said they have gotten a lot of complaints about Sohn and they all left him flat. If you value your life don't go to Charles Sohn

I had a heart attack a few years back, the er rushed me through to get an angioplasty, but Dr. Sohn was in no hurry to put in a stent. Thankfully another doctor was in there with him, he told him to hurry up, and Dr. Sohn said "what's the hurry he is a goner", not realizes I was not unconscious, he was going to put in a stent too small, the other doctor had to force him to put in a bigger one. Putting in the sent saved my life, but Dr. Sohn is nothing but a glorified in it for the money dr. He wanted to put in a defibruelator immediately. After a few visits in his office, I noticed all his patients looked pale and not good, and the other doctors patients looked good. He doesn't listen and I would not recommend him to anyone. His staff sucks too.

I wasn't on a great path in life, and I did not realize all of the damage that I was doing to my body. Dr. Sohn put me on a better track and really saved my life because if he did not do this I would have died.

I saw Dr Sohn and he was a great Dr. described everything and was you did not get the feeling he was trying to rush to his next patient. His staff worked very hard to work around my schedule. A+ service.

Dr. Sohn may be a good scientist but he has no meaningful communication with his staff. They are poor in English and logic. I was billed for procedures not performed and he never answered my questions or communication. I think he is a malpractice train wreck headed down the road.

Very caring doctor, answered all my questions and explained my condition and treatment options. Highly recommended.

I'm so thankful I was referred to Dr Sohn. He did a bubble study and found that I had a small hole in my heart. He referred me to a great surgeon. I looking forward to having more energy in the future.

Great Doctor! Great Staff!

Dr. Sohn has been my cardiologist for 5 years now, and has saved my life more than once. He is a very caring and kind doctor, and is interested in me as a person as well as a patient. He always discusses my tests, medications, goes over all my options in detail, and always answers my questions. He does have a very busy office and sometimes I do need to wait a bit. His staff does their best to take care of everybody. It is always worth the wait!! I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Sohn saved my life and I will be forever grateful to him for that, but his staff and his bedside manner need much improvement. Today after having a 330 appointment and not getting out of there until 530, he runs his office like an assembly line, the staff is non caring. I saw one nurse be completely rude to two elderly women who were sent to their office, they didn't know why and the woman flat out told them "I'm not wasting my time calling to find out why they sent you over here you call them, and one of the elderly woman asked to use their phone and she just stood there and pointed at it. Definitely need nicer staff, these are heart patients.
