Dr. Charles Tune Staples, MD

My wife and I were involved in an automobile accident and were sent to Trident Hospital. Dr. Staples came in somewhat abrupt, due to the urgency of the situation, but at once his demeanor was one of true care and concern. One of the nurses ran a test inaccurately, and he was a bit steamy, not because of his temper, but because he expects his patients to be given the best possible care. He seems to be a perfectionist, while maintaining eye contact and a kind nature. Our young son and daughter were later rejoined with us, to which his face lit up and he was quite focused on their overall understanding that daddy and mommy were alright, even asking them questions about their stuffed animals and friends, etc. Dr. Staples truly helped our family get through this initial trauma, was a great point of first contact in his expectations of things being done correctly and with the utmost care and detail, and (God forbid) if ever have to go to an ER again, I pray that he is the one on call.
