Dr. Charles Hershel Stoner, MD

We went to Dr. Charles Stoner for our greencard medical exams in 2014 but USCIS priority date retrogressed and we have to repeat the medical exams in 2016 so we still went again with Dr. Stoner because he is very nice. Our experience was excellent. Fast forward to 2017, I needed a physician clearance from him for a new employer and Dr. Stoner graciously gave me my physician clearance without even me paying for it. I even have to bugged them 3-4 times to get some things corrected in the clearance but they were cool about it and entertained my request. His staff are also very accommodating. I rarely write reviews but I believe Dr. Stoner and his staff deserved a 5 star rating.

Couldn't get an appointment with Dr Stonner so went to Urgent care and they told me to follow up with my doctor (Stonner) within 48 for a heart murmur. Refused to see me until a $60 bill that was less than 30 days out was paid. Did send out questionairs though as to whether I was interested in concierge care for an added fee, Cares way more about money than patient's health.

Dr. Stoner first impressed me with his professionalism when i saw him during a hospital stay. He is always caring, easy to talk to and calm in the face of a problem. When it came time for me to select a primary care provider, I chose Dr. Stoner and I have not regretted my choice in the last 4 years and been very pleased. Getting an appointment is easy too and the wait time is low.

This doctor took no time in reviewing my son's medical records and prescribed a very potent medication - Trazodole - to help him sleep. This medication exasperated his condition and we ended up in the ER. The ER doc actually asked us who the heck prescribed THAT med for a healthy 20-year old? We are disgusted with this doctor's lacksadaisical approach to what has turned out to be a very serious illness. Needs to have a medical review by the local hospital.

Dr. Stoner is the best. His nurses are very understanding. Had to have an x-ray, and blood drawn. They could do that in the office right there. He, himself followed up with me the next day to see how I was feeling.

Really listens and genuinely cares. Spent an adequate amount of time to correctly diagnose my problem.

I have been to Dr. Stoner 2 times and am absolutely disgusted by the lack of care. The 1st time he was my doctor to have my gallbladder removed. Less than 3 months later, I went to him for an infection in my eye. Not only did he not look at my chart prior to coming i- but actually had the nerve to ask who my physician was for my surgery- but had not problem billing me for 5 hospital visits where he only took my vitals- for $100 out of pocket each time.. He then diagnosed my eye infection as an "allergy". I tried to explain that I had no history of allergies and since it was in 1 eye- that I suspected something else. He refused to further trouble shoot and I left with nothing more than a suggestion to get allergy medication. I later had to take an emergency trip to the hospital 2 days later- where they correctly diagnosed pink eye. If you don't want to get the run around- don't bother with his practice.
