Dr. Charles Jess Veale, MD

Doc Veale has been treating me for years. He's always straightforward and knowledgeable and really cares about my health and my family. Plus he always tells me about some great red wine I've never heard of. He's great.

I saw this physician for 18 months, in which time he completely wrecked my body by prescribing unneeded medication. I was given thyroid medication although my thyroid was functioning correctly. I began to have massive headaches in which he prescribed only pain medication. I had to go through the ER because he can not admit to any hospitals and have a CT. I did not want to just take pain medication, but find the source of the headaches. Scan revealed I had a terrible sinus infection in my entire head! After continuously changing my dose of Bio-identical hormones like playing a game of spin the wheel my body and mind took almost a year to recover. He diagnosed me with adrenal fatigue without proper lab work to support and prescribed many medications. Just three weeks after putting me on lots of medication I received a letter out of the blue that he would no longer be seeing me. Dr. Charles Veale took away a valuable part of my life that can never be replaced. Please do not use… this physician.

Paying more money did not make him less rude

Dr Veale is a very rude Dr. If you need to call after hours he seems to not have time for you.

I have been going to Dr. Veale for about 20 years. He has always listened carefully and explained things clearly, but something has changed. In the beginning, he would follow a problem until he found an answer, and was very good about referrals if it was beyond his capability. More recently, he has been focusing on hormone therapy and hormone balancing and he seems less interested in conventional medicine. This year, he dropped most of his patients and switched to a concierge (VIP) type of practice. Now he only sees subscribers who are willing to pay a $1,500+ fee in addition to their regular insurance premiums, co-pays, etc. I am looking for another doctor.

Even if I did have to wait longer, which I did not, I wouldn't mind. Dr. Veale spends as much time as needed with me, he and his staff are very personable. make you feel very comfortable. I am so very glad to have found him.

I have been seeing Dr. Veale ever since he was with Auburn Family care and folllowed him to his private practice .. I feel totally at ease telling him everything that is going on with me .. and will continue to tell me that altho i tell him what it is I have he'll quickly tell me he is the doctor and he'll tell me what is wrong with me :)

Dr. Veale is not only a wonderful doctor, he is truely a wonderful person!
