Dr. Charles L. Vogel, MD is extremely devoted to his patients, Dr. Vogel was already at the top of his field for many years and still is in the lead nowadays. Always keeping up with medical advances and also involved in research of his own, giving lectures worldwide. Very caring, compassionate and a great listener, answering any question in a detailed but easy way for anyone to understand. Dr. Vogel gave my mother (Marcelle Behar) a chance to stay with us for many additional years with great quality of life, while several oncologists (we went to prior) had given up on her, as she had been diagnosed with metastasized stage 4 breast cancer. And who wouldn't? Well, Dr. Charles Vogel didn't! He didn't give us any unrealistic hope but said he would do anything in his power to extend her life. And so he did! Successfully enrolling her in one of his own research trial, according to her type of gene (since approved by the FDA and now commonly known as Her2), which boosted her immune… system, helping her fight off the disease, while experiencing great quality of life without any side effects. Dr. Vogel may have saved my life. My oncologist had basically given up on treatment way before options had run out. Dr. Vogel saw me right away and suggested a new course of treatment, and also suggest back up treatments. He is a teacher and researcher and knows all there is to know about current research, current treatments and upcoming treatments.

He is by far the most incredible, knowledgeable doctor. He goes above and beyond standard care. Best oncologist!

The good doctor should know about his staff. My wife has cancer for the second time in three years. We were referred to Dr.Charles. Vogel for a second opinion. The day before the appointment I received a call from a woman named "Lilly" who informed me that my insurance coverage would not be accepted and my appointment was canceled. I called this Lilly and offered to pay cash to the Dr. for the second opinion visit. This Lilly became nasty and rude and told me that I had to find another doctor. I still did not believe that even if I paid cash this doctor would not see me. I called this Lilly again----this time i was told that perhaps i did not understand that my appointment was canceled---as if she were talking to a child. If this is the way Dr. Charles Vogel cares about cancer victims, my wife and I want nothing to do with him or his office. As my wife and I travel this terrible road, we meet and talk to many other cancer victims. I assure you that these cancer victims would be very … interested in how we were treated.
