Dr. Charles Melvin Weatherby, MD

First doctor who I feel he actually listens hands down. I’ve been seeing him for 8 yrs now and can’t imagine what it’s going to be like when I find out that he wants to retire.

I have been seeing Dr Weatherby for 37 years and will never have another doctor. I love that he always asks about my family (he delivered my youngest son)& still sees my children (all adults). I trust him completely! His staff is friendly & they always listen to what I need for my appointment. I have never had to wait long once there. I'm usually early so I would say they get me in pretty much on time. He is just the best doctor. I would recommend him highly!!

I have been going to Dr. Weatherby for the last six months. The 1st visit was amazing, he was friendly, listened to my needs and concerns and his staff was awesome as well. After the 1st visit, things slowly changed. He started to seem bothered by the questions I would ask him concerning MY HEALTH, go figure. The visits became shorter and I instantly felt like I became just a number to him. He would prescribe medication and would not explain what it was for and one visit he even told me that I have way too many issues and that I need to make separate appointments for each issue or request a longer time slot because he only has 15 minutes to spare because he is busy. When I scheduled my appointments I always made sure that the scheduler knew exactly what I was coming in for, it's not my fault that they did not schedule accordingly. When I finally got the nerve to confront him about his behavior and that often times I feel rushed out of his office he instantly became defensive and rudely… told me that that I have to many issues for 1 visit and that I needed to reschedule a follow up appointment and then exited the room. Needless to say, I will not be returning to see him. If you need a Dr. that cares, and will take their time with you and genuinely care about your health, keep looking.
