Dr. Whalen care through the Ortho Cincy Urgent Care facility in Crestview Hills was very thorough, professional, yet personable, and in his care I gained peace of mind and hope for relief of pain.

Dr Whalen saw me as a walk in patient for a twisted ankle and injury to my left knee from a fall off a ladder. It was at the end of his day on a Friday. He didn’t rush me out of the office but took his time to thoroughly examine my injuries and carefully look over my X-Rays looking for any possible fractures in my foot and ankle. He thoroughly checked my total knee replacement for any damage to the artificial knee and the bones it connects to. He told me that I was very lucky that I hadn’t broken anything just bad sprain and swelling. He ordered a walking boot for me and instructions for reducing the swelling and made follow up appointments with a sports medicine Doctor and my Knee Doctor Hummel for follow up in a couple of weeks. I would definitely recommend Dr Whalen to everyone.

Dr. Whalen was very nice however I feel like I shouldn’t have had to go to two different ortho cincy places to have my X-ray read. It was an extra $40 on co-pays and it wasn’t necessary and I am a single parent.

I saw Dr. Whalen early on a Monday morning at OrthoCincy’s urgent care. ?? He was so kind and thorough in his explanation of my problem. He even got me in with a surgeon in just a week!
