Dr. Charles Erwin Womack, MD

He has been my doctor for 38 years and he is so kind and diligent.

I did not have to wait for my appointment. The office is very nice. Dr. Womack is a very good doctor. However, I was a little disappointed in his staff. I feel they should be more congenial.

He's been my doctor since the 70's, so l trust him completely!

He has been our family doctor for over 32 years. Not only is he a great doc, but he is a Christian that really cares about people. He takes the time to listen. I would drive out of my way for him.

Wonderful Doctor that listens and the staff is very good as listen. I have been seeing this Dr. for the last 16+ years. Could not ask for a better professional office then this

I have been going to Dr Womack for many many years and think he is a very good doctor, very thorough and seems to really 'listen', which is kind of hard to find nowadays.

This is one of the kindest, nicest doctors I have ever known. He is very intune to his patients. His staff is excellent, friendly and welcoming...love them all.

Dr. Charles Womack and Jennie Stephens are incredible care givers and take your problems seriously. However, they have a PA named John Parmalee who could care less about his patients, he has ridiculed me in the past because I did not have insurance, he has made me feel that my concerns are not valid, and he will refer to a specialist for the smallest of things, and most of the time they are no where near the diagnosis he has given. An example is telling my mother that she had COPD and upon seeing a Pulminologist finding out it was just allergies. He is ignorant and despite making complaints about his level of caring, he is still in employment. If you decide to go to this clinic, make sure you can see Dr. Womack or Jennie, they're both amazing, but if the only one with open appointments is John, don't waste your time or money.

I went to Dr. Womack because I was experiencing chronic fatigue. First I went to his PA, John, who told me "I have 4 kids, when you don't have kids, it's natural to just go to sleep when you get home." I was very angry because he basically told me I was destined to sleep my life away because I didn't have kids. He did test me for hypothyroidism and anemia, which came back negative. I went to Dr. Womack a month or so later for a second opinion,"I don't disagree with John, I can test you for chronic fatigue syndrome but I don't think you have it."He was really very rude about it. So about 6 months after that I decided to try another doctor. She didn't just test my thyroid and my iron. She tested my vitamin D, my antinuclear antibodies, and a variety of other things. It turns out my thyroid levels were borderline low(which the numbers were the same as when Dr. Womack ran the test he just saw they didn't go past the "low" number.), I have a vitamin D deficiency, and I'm producing… antinuclear antibodies. The doctor made an appointment with me to follow up on my lab results before she even got the results back. It is likely I have Chron's disease, but she is going to wait a few months and redraw some blood again. I never felt like Dr. Womack cared at all, and he spent 10 minutes with me, and would ask no additional questions about symptoms that I might not be recognizing as symptoms. Overall, a doctor I would only go to for a viral infections, not anything that may require thinking to diagnose a problem.
