Dr. Charles L Yarbrough, MD

Dr. Yarbrough would not answer my questions, telling me I would have to make another appointment to talk to him. He caused me pain and scars. He talked down to me so bad I told the nurse I would not be coming back again. Ever!!

The rudest man I have ever met. Definitely has a God complex. I will never return

I would not recommend Dr. Yarbrough to anyone. I recently went in to see him for rash that was covering my body and he misdiagnosed me not one, but two times. He did not want to listen to what I had to say about the rash and made me feel as if I was stupid. Nor did he do a biopsy to determine the cause of the rash at either visit. I ended up finding a new dermatologist. The visit with the new doc worked out great! Never going back to Yarbrough again.

I waited almost 3 hrs to be seen and then I was told he would only look at one thing per visit. I have 3 bad moles on my back, 1 on my neck, and 2 on my hands so you're telling me I need to make that many appt for each thing? What happened to an all over skin check?

Dr. Yarbrough is a great doctor, Jason his PA has a great background in Rheumatology and skin. Staff are so nice as well!

We have appointment 8 am we be there around 7.50 after paperwork we wait till 2+ hour

My child was referred to Dr. Yarbrough his pediatrician for a wart. He had absolutely no respect for my or my child's opinion. My child, who was 8 at the time and more than capable of understanding what was happening, was treated like he was stupid and his thoughts and understanding of the situation did not matter. He spoke only to the father and barely acknowledged me, the mother, or the 8 yr old patient. The doctor preformed an elaborate procedure that required several office visits over several months while telling us that this was the best treatment because all others would be too painful and scar him emotionally for life. After several months and seeing no results with Dr Yarbrough, we went to a different dermatologist who treated the wart with a simple, one time freezing that certainly did not hurt my child emotionally or physically. Dr. Yarbrough is rude, disrespectful, sexist, and does not like children and we would never recommend him for anything.

Dr Yarborough, is a great doctor. He found out what was wrong with me,after I had been to 6 other doctors. They found out nothing. I would recommend him. His bedside manner is just fine, he is a serious doctor and no nonsense. I am a medicade patient and he has went beyond whats required to see I have the best care.

I was squeezed into my appt one particular day by his scheduler as I had a horrible rash on my lower legs. I had been seen/treated at one other facility ( one of those urgent- outpatient deals) I would have went on to my primary care provider but they had transferred elsewhere and I had not been assigned anyone in the interim plus the system which managed the clinic ultimately closed the clinic and so it would be some time before I could get into a primary clinic and be seen. As I had seen Dr. Y in the past, I called his office and got promptly in. I had a feeling he had been overbooked that day as my presence only seemed to anger him. Anyway, he was very rude to me- raising his voice- demanding answers to the management style of the primary care clinic and raised issues as to my diabetes management. I understood his concern over not being assigned at that time for my newly dx of DM but could not understand his sudden agitation which suddenly came out of no where. As… I could hear him talking with other patients in other rooms, I know others anywhere in the building could hear him discussing my case in the hall or in the room. He was very blunt and talked very negative towards his staff member as she was struggling to keep up with his sudden demands. After he finally left the room, I apologized to her for coming in that day and she reassured me it was ok. She indicated that his temperament gets that way from time to time. and that 'we just deal with it.' As I turned out, I had poison ivy and it eventually faded. It was apparent he was always used to getting his way. This was one day that things didn't go his way. I called later and canceled my follow up as there was no used to return to a practitioner who I was a burden to and informed them why I would not be returning. The next day, Dr. Y called me and said he understood and asked about my legs. He offered no apology.

This Doctor that I did see treats medicaid patients very poorly and is very rude too. I once called to set up an appointment to see the doctor or one of the interns and the receptionist told me that they do not allow any medicaid patients to schedule appointments individually which of course is discriminatory and rude. I feel like that all patients should be treat equally and at least allow the medicaid patients to schedule appointments individually instead of all together whether or not they have medicaid or other insurace which of course would help with working around each patients schedule and would not overload the clinics very much. I am very disgusted by this and would not recommend any medicaid patients to go to Dr. Yarbrough and his staff. His staff including the receptionist and the other office workers also need better training in how to schedule medicaid patients a bit better individually instead of lumping them all together at once into one clinic each week and even if… they have clinics for medicaid each week at least have the medicaid patients schedule the appointments individually instead of putting the patients all together as a first come first serve into one clinic one day a week and having the healthcare doctors do all the work to get patients scheduled.
