I recently had two cataract surgeries with Dr.Zacks. Both were 100% successful. Dr. Zacks was very personable and attentive, answering all my questions with clear information. All his attending staff were also excellent. I highly recommend Dr.Zacks.

One of the most professional caring Opthamalogist I have ever encountered. Dr Zacks confirmed a previous diagnosis and thoroughly explained treatment and symptom management as well as my best options for optimum surgical results. Follow up care was top notch. I never had to wait for an extended period of time in the office. Dr Zacks took the time to make sure I was comfortable with the decisions I made and he made sure I understood every aspect of my surgical procedure and what to expect post surgery.

If you need eye surgery, in my case cataracts and lenses then Dr Zack is the one to go to. I had zero pain and an awesome experience. His entire staff is incredibly professional, friendly and make you feel like your the only patient they have. ??????????

I recently had cataract surgery with Dr Zacks at Maine Eye. He was very thorough, and did additional tests to rule out other causes of my problem. The surgery was quick and painless. As soon as the first bandage came off, the difference was incredible. After the surgery, everything was sharper and clearer, colors more vivid. I can drive at night. All the people who worked with me were pleasant and efficient. Dr. Zacks took the time to be sure that I understood everything. Very happy.

I recently had cataract surgery performed by Dr. Charles Zacks. I knew he was an extremely talented surgeon but his listening/people skills in working me through the decisions on what type of lenses and vision I wanted without corrected lenses was absolutely outstanding. The end result was that I got exactly what I wanted and I could not be happier.

The receptionists, the surgical nurses and the doctor's staff are all professional and kind. Sometimes there is a long wait- it is well worth it. Dr. Zacks spends time with you and answers all of your questions.

I would be happy to recommend Dr. Zacks to any friend or family member in need of cataract surgery. I was especially nervous about any surgery to my eye but realized the increasing need for the removal of the cataract. While the surgery was over a month ago, I continue to be amazed every day. The surgery was almost painless and when the bandage was removed the next day, I was spellbound by the ability to see so clearly. Everything was extremely professional and user friendly throughout the experience. Both thumbs up to Dr. Zacks and staff.

I think this man is the best! I was so nervous about the eye surgeries I was to have and let me tell you, he explained everything and, as much as is possible, put me right at ease. The day of the surgeries his staff were like having 5 mommy's by my side, no joke. Very caring, explained EVERYTHING to me....just very caring. In and out with no trouble. I'm not alone, many of the other patients I chatted with on my visits there said the same things....a nice place to go when you need 'fixing'! I know I've check 5 stars for everything but, I've nothing to gain from it....just all the truth. Good Luck!
