Dr. Charlie Yadao Sonido, MD

Please do not waste your time here. My father's doctor and as a nurse,I can see that this doctor does not do a thorough assessment to check underlying cause of pain..he just prescribes pain medication without even knowing the cause of it..pathetic! He does not even send recommendations to other specialist. Honestly, if we haven't taken my father to the emergency who knows what would have happened.

Talks to his nurse and computer than the patient Doesnt take the time to answer questions. Even said had to leave because another patient is coming in. He has another practice in Oahu so wouldn't trust a MD who comes once a week to Kauai. His staff never returns calls when you have questions unless you can trust the receptionist who attempts to read your charts and answers the questions. Long wait even if you have an appt. Never explains.

Dr. Sonido seemed to be competent when you do get a chance to see him which is 1 out of 10 times. Other than that you see various different "trainee" doctors each time. Staff is also rude and not bet courteous. After many visits of giving his medical clinic a try it was time for me to make the switch. One of the best decisions I've ever made.

Dr Sonido is ok for a doctor.But his staff are rude,and unqualified.They don't speak english and put Philapinos in right away.I sign in and and wait,sometimes I'm there for 4 hours..!!They will NOT schedule appointments and refferals correctly.They LIE and treat the patients like dirt.They laugh about the patients and I'm finding a new doctor because of his staff.
