By the time I got to MSK and Dr Aryian, I was in serious trouble. Her knowledge, her team, made an horrific experience tolerable. In a position where she deals in so much pain, she remains grounded. Her caring and humanity is evident in every meeting. Many others to thank for still being here, Dr Hodi, Dana, Dr Jim Allison, Bristol Meyer for Yervoy. I know where I would bring my loved ones if this awful disease were to hit. Find those people! Answering the 'wait time' questions seem almost insignificant in this context. How long would you wait in order to potentially have the rest of your life?

Dr. Ariyan eliminated melanoma from me with her ipilimumab clinical trial treatment. I am forever grateful for her professionalism, knowledge and persistence.

Dr. Ariyan is by far, the most wonderful doctor I have ever met. Her compassionate manner is only further complimented by her skilled expertise. I am currently under her care for melanoma, which can be frightening and debilitating; however, Dr. Ariyan and her staff have gone above and beyond to put me at ease. Dr. Ariyan is remarkably intelligent, thorough and diligent. All of my questions, no matter how big or small, are answered and explained in detail. The office staff, Laura, Corinna and Arlene have been amazing. With each visit, I feel confident and not intimidated in the least. A cancer diagnosis changes ones life, but in the right hands, managing the fear and stress becomes less traumatic. I highly recommend Dr. Ariyan without any reservation whatsoever. She saved my life and I am forever grateful.

She is caring and compassionate. She has the technical expertise that so many others have, but she brings an understanding of the existential angst that Sloan Kettering patients all go, that separates her from the rest. regardless of what my outcome is, I know that Dr. Ariyan is the best there is and that my life, literally in her hands, is getting the best care anywhere in the world.

Dr. Charlotte Ariyan has proven herself to be a beyond-competent and incredibly committed doctor and surgeon. At the time of my initial diagnosis, she provided confidence and support to me and my family and thanks to her and others at Memorial Sloan Kettering, I am, right now, so gratefully, cancer free! She offers an incredible amount of patience and understanding throughout a difficult journey however it is quite clear that behind the warm smile, she knows exactly how to tackle, what can be, an enormous task at hand. Furthermore, she is able to provide the security that one needs when going through a time such as being diaganosed with cancer. Dr. Charlotte Ariyan is always willing to listen and explain, in detail, answers to questions from the most basic to the deeply intricate, all the while ensuring the patient understands every word and concept. Because of this, I love being able to learn from her with each visit. At the same time, she is exceptionally warm, caring and… personal; making me feel at home during every time I see her.
