Dr. Charlotte Emilie Menzel, MD

Dr. Menzel helped my mom during her recent hospitalization. She is a great hospitalist. She made sure that my Mom's needs didn't fall through the cracks as she saw multiple doctors and NPs during her stay. She followed up with persistence and brought everything together so that my Mom got the care she needed, without staying in the hospital any longer (or shorter) than necessary. She helped us understand what as going on, and also made sure the specialists paid attention to all the information before making a decision.

After not being able to diagnose my sister this dr ( I use the term loosely) diagnosis of “conversion disorder” marked my sister as basically a mental condition. She was moved from in patient to rehab and died 3 days later. After further research other patients of hers were ALSO diagnosed with conversion disorder and suffered harm.

Wowww! Listened to all my concerns, knowledgeable and friendly.

Dr. Menzel is one of the few doctors that really spends time with her patients. She listened to all my concerns and was very comforting. A very sweet lady who knows her stuff!

My mother's doctor does not have hospital privileges. When my mother was hospitalized recently, Dr. Menzel treated her in St. Vincent's East. Dr. Menzel was very professional, carefully explaining each test and the results. We never felt rushed. She stayed and answered questions as long as we needed her to.

Has to be the worst office visit of my life. Incredibly rude staff, took me almost 90 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, and "Doctor" Menzel was rude, brusque and dismissed my questions and concerns about my health as irrelevant and "uninformed".
