Dr. Charlotte Lynn Thornton, MD

Dr. Thornton is an incredible doctor. She is caring, helpful and kind. She has patiently worked with me for a few years and my health has improved dramatically because of her. She’s trustworthy and knowledgeable so it’s easy to build a good doctor-patient relationship. I’m not trading her in for anyone!

Horrible patient interaction. Talks over patient, indirectly complains if you would like to discuss more than one concern. Does not return phone calls or messages. Makes medical decision without consulting the patient or original ordering physician. Stopped prescriptions and when questioned as to why avoids response or gives responses that were previously addressed and resolved with ordering physician. Treats the exam room as her though it is her personal living space, eating during appointments and having open containers out, not paying attention, blaring heat, with no regard to patient. Makes you feel very uncomfortable and like you are bothering her and intruding on her time/space.

Dr. Thornton is not someone I would recommend anyone to as a primary care physician. She does not have any bedside manners (I have never seen her wash her hands despite the fact that she coughs so much over the past 3 months!)She rushes and interrupts without fully listening to what patients have to say about their concerns. Last time I was there I literally had to wait for 1 hour and 30 minutes to see her and then she rushed out because it was closing time,without answering the questions we had about lab results and told us that we needed more "data".Her bedside manners are the worst and I would never want to come visit this kind of doctor ever!
