Dr. Charlotte Zhong Yang, MD

Never dealt with such a snide and snotty physician before. Simply repeated another Mclaren Dr's incorrect diagnosis, demeaned my age and gender. Staff rude and disrespectful.

It's sad because I love Dr. Yang and I've been with her for years but her staff (Nicole) (Girl that you check in with) is awful. They are so rude it makes you scared to ask anything. I'm going to look for a new Dr. It's just not worth it to me to go there anymore with a staff that treats you like garbage!

I have been a patient of Dr. Yang since 2003. She is amazing. I have referred several people to her. She takes her time and does not try to rush you out of the office. She does always seem to be over booked, but worth the wait.

I went to Dr. Yang straight from my pediatrician. Dr. Yang was great for me, took a lot of time insuring that I was comfortable, and didn't make pap-smears awkward. I would recommend her to anyone that needs a good and caring doctor. I haven't ever had issues with the staff, however I moved in 2012 and have a new doctor therefore the staff may have changed.

I'm 70 years old and have had many family doctors over my life. Dr. Yang is by far the best family doctor I've ever seen.

I called the office and asked for a referral to my endocrinologist that I see once a year. The doctor called me that evening and said she doesn't have time to look into patients charts and got very short with me. I'm sorry but it is your job to look into patients charts. Also do you plan to wait in the office a couple hours to be seen.

Wonderful doctor! Horribly rude staff. Looking for a new doctor- can't deal with her staff.

Dr. Charlotte Yang herself is extremely attentive and thorough. The staff at the desk however, are very frustrating. I have NEVER called the office where I haven't been told "Hold Please" without so much as a chance to say hello, and have never been on the phone for less than 5-10 minutes on hold; I have gone up to 20+ straight minutes holding when all I want is to ask a simple "yes" or "no" question. I have expressed my frustrations to the staff on this and have never been apologized to, either. Dr. Yang gets 5 stars, but the desk staff 1.

I enjoy my Doctor Charlotte Yang: She is knowledgeable and her care is top notch. However, The lady that answers the phone during lunch and off time hours is just plain rude. Also the entire phone services is poor to say the least. First you get the answer machine asking who you want Dr. Yang or Dr. Sutton then you chose and push the button for Dr Yang then again you are asked who you want to speak to and finally when I get to her office the first thing out of the person answering mouth is " CAN YOU HOLD PLEASE" almost every time I have called which is about six times in my life i get the same and the last time I called I was on hold for over 20 minutes. I times it sitting at my computer at work . love her as a Doctor but that phone system needs to change and that lady that answers the phone she needs to go! ot a good phone system especially when a person has limited time while at work or just not feeling well.

I called to find out whether Dr. Yang will be joining the plan I signed up for under my Affordable Health Plan Bronze Select plan. She has been my PCP for many years and I didn't want to switch doctors. The person who I spoke to on the phone was very short with me. "Well, you'll have to ask them." I told her I did try to sign up with Dr. Yang as my PCP and it said she wasn't in the plan. She said, "Then she isn't in your group." I asked if she was going to be in any new plans under the new health care situation, and she said 'Not that I know of." Very unhelpful, very brusque and not courteous at all. Maybe I should be glad I have to get a new doctor. Dr. Yang is a sweetheart, but the staff sucks.
