Dr. Charul Sen, MD

I chose Dr. Sen because of her high review ratings, however at my initial visit, I found her distant, cold and unattentive to my comments. The new patient visit was dedicated to her going through my history, which is good. However, the following actions, and over the next two-three weeks were very disturbing. Suggestions she made that I had already declined, she moved forward anyway. I was literally receiving calls on a daily basis either from her office, the insurance company and specialists she had made referrals to, against my preference. The straw for me was I had had a 'cobblestone' in my throat a couple of years prior. She asked me if I had seen a specialist. I said I did. Did I follow up? I did, and he cleared me. She said she wanted a second opinion (keep in mind, this was two yrs ago and the cobblestone was gone), however she never even looked in my throat. I declined as I didn't see the necessity. Two weeks later I get a call from an ENT specialist saying Dr. Sen… sent them a referral to check out my throat. That was just one of several things that took place. Needless to say, I didn't go back and found a different PCP.
