Dr. Chau Dang-Thi Nguyen-Tran, MD

I was an established patient of Dr. Nguyen-Tran. My first visit was stellar - her assistant was wonderful and the visit was non-intrusive, thorough, and informative. I was under the impression I could see her for anything obgyn related. However, I had very concerning pain one morning that I knew was ovarian related (prior history). I called her office and checked with the staff if she would see me for this and they scheduled me that day. When I showed up Dr. Nguyen-Tran made me feel so unwelcomed....She questioned why I was seeing her, almost like I had self-diagnosed? I told her I had a history of this pain, it's why I was referred to her, and thought she was the specialist to handle it. It was just awkward - I felt like I had intruded on her time and did something wrong. She did exams and ultrasound but I felt like she was reluctant to do so and wanted to prove me wrong? I followed up with my primary care who confirmed it was what we had treated before, and was much more… understanding. Thankfully, my primary does Well Women exam, because she told me from now on I can see her for all issues like this. I don't know if I caught Dr. Nguyen-Tran on a bad day, or how I may have offended her, but I've never felt like such an idiot in a doctor's office.... I can't see myself going back.

From the beginning as a new patient Dr. Tran made me feel secure by her actions as a doctor but also how she treated me as a person. She is so kind and sweet but above all practices good medicine. I will continue to be her patient through the years and hopefully have my children delivered by her.

First, the front desk receptionist is rude; 2nd, Dr. Tran does not seem like an doctor, she actually let the receptionist explained my test report in front of other visitors!!!!! total unprofessional!

I didn't like the doctor's treatment to my daughter and the way she spoke to us. Staff is not at all friendly.

Strongly not recommend!

The staff and Dr. Nguyen were so friendly and on top of things.
