Dr. Chay Bae, DO

Dr. Bae provided the worst doctor experience of my life. I left the appointment in tears, dismissed and not taken seriously during an acute health crisis. My swollen, painful leg was ignored; he claimed in chart notes “no swelling present” and said, “everyone has asymmetry” to explain the obvious swelling. My husband noted Dr. Bae never even touched my leg during his “physical exam.” His chart notes misquoted me, taking my respectful questions out of context, labeling me repeatedly as “NONCOMPLIANT,” which isn’t accurate and could harm my ongoing care. His many irrelevant notes seem meant to portray me negatively, likely due to his bruised ego from my questions. His recommendations were useless, forcing me to seek another rheumatologist. Now, when I should be healing, I’m fighting to correct my inaccurate chart notes to protect my future care. A complete waste of time and a horrifying experience.
