Dr. Chelsea Seare Hardin, MD

Performed a hernia op for me. Really amazing throughout - i've had a few bad experiences with US medical/healthcare - Dr.Hardin did not fall into this camp! From start to finish - she was fabulous. 5 stars easy!

Dr. Hardin was warm and comforting when beginning the mastectomy process. The cancer is back news is never easy but she made the looking ahead a positive experience. She had such a great outlook it was contagious. The entire office staff was the same warm and positive and productive group, as a team they made everything happen smoothly.

Dr. Hardin has performed two surgeries on me and I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon. I fully trust her and would not hesitate to recommend her to any family or friends. She is skilled, honest, intelligent, and takes the time to fully explain the diagnosis and procedure. Follow up care was great, and her nurse Pam, called just to check on me. You're hard pressed to find this level of care these days. A lot of other physicians in the SD area could learn from her and her staff.

Dr Harden is the BEST, well mannered Dr. I have met. My friends as well as myself were very impressed at how much she knew about breast cancer and lymph node removal before my surgery. I would rank her as NUMBER 1 in Southern CA

Dr. Chelsea was very personable and seem to have knowledge of hernias, but aparently dident listen to my phyical complaint because after my surgury 12 months later I still have pain and my problem that feels like MY GUTS anr in MY NUTS is still on going. I schedueld another appointment with Dr. Chelsea only to find out that she performed surgury on a differant area and now says that the area I have pain is a urologist area and she wondered at the time of surgury why I complained of so much pain while only finding a tiny hernia, bottom line is my Dr. performed sugury ware I dident need it and I'm still in alot of pain, and now I need to take a the time to find another Dr.in urology and I am fearful of any kind of surugy because it was extremly painful and lengthy recovery process

My husband went in to see Dr. Hardin for a "consultation" (which implies a discussion). He was never told at any time, he was to be examined. Since surgery was to be performed, I wanted to meet her before she actually did anything. When she came in to the examining room, she told my husband to undo his belt and drop his pants. He felt shocked, and didn't quite know what to do, so he just did it. He was very uncomfortable.We later found out she has only 3 years experience, which could explain her poor bedside manners, and ease of getting an appointment with her.We canceled the surgery, and are going to a different doctor. Dr. Hardin, never even bothered to call to find out why, or to talk to us. It was a humiliating and invasive experience. I hope no one else will have to endure.
