I am writing to express considerable disappointment with my recent experience at Havana Street Dental, where I have been a patient for twenty years. Following Dr. Mitchell's assumption of ownership, I visited the practice in October 2025 for a routine cleaning and consultation regarding a cracked tooth. Despite agreeing to postpone treatment until January 2026 due to my upcoming surgery in December, the office insisted on an urgent consultation with an oral surgeon without addressing the inconsistency in Dr. Mitchell's initial assessment. Moreover, the transfer of my dental records was mishandled, with only photocopies of my x-rays being sent to my new dentist, resulting in unnecessary delays and inconvenience. Dr. Mitchell has since offered an apology, acknowledging regret over our decision to depart and committing to a $100 refund for our overpayment. However, I am still awaiting confirmation that the situation will be rectified.
