Chelsea Strand

Chelsea Strand is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with 4 years of work experience. Her experience is vast, having worked at a mental health hospital, methadone clinic, and community mental health organization. She is passionate about working with people from all areas and works of life, such as children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Chelsea specializes in depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, LGBTQIA+ issues, self-esteem, and life transition issues. Chelsea completed her Masters of Art in Psychology at West Texas A&M University in Canyon Texas. She then went on to earn her license in counseling in Amarillo, Texas. Chelsea utilizes multiple treatment methods, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectal behavioral therapy (DBT), person-focused therapy, and play therapy.
