Dr. Cherag Aspi Daruwala, MD

So disappointed with my experience with Dr. Daruwala at Hunterdon Gastroenterology Associates. Dr. Daruwala's consult was an uncomfortable experience at best and he did not seem the most confident in the guidance he was providing. In addition to this, Dr. Daruwala was misleading in that he offered to do a 1 minute non-essential excision without discussing that this was an additional service and would not be covered under insurance. I felt completely mislead and was given an unnecessary medical treatment, so that they could bill more. From this experience, I understand that their team is more interested in making money rather than patient care. I would not return back and do not trust this practice. Be warned.

After a routine test and removal of a polyp he stated that I probably had metastatic cancer. This was before the biopsy was evaluated. Two weeks later the reports came back negative. He never informed me of the results. All this office does is call you to schedule more tests. Went in for the evaluation of some minor digestive issues and never got any relief, just more requested tests. Stay away.

one of the nicest doctors I've had. Very caring, compassionate. He returns my phone call the same day when I call the office. He readily calls in my prescriptions. My EGD and colonoscopy was so comfortable. I had no pain. Afterwards the doctor explained the findings to me and showed me pictures. Overall very professional
