Dr. Chere Elizabeth Mccormick, DO

Dr. McCormick has been my PCP for about 12 years. She has always listened to me. Something I really appreciate! If there is a particular problem, she works to find out what needs to be done, quickly. I would and have recommended her as a primary care physician.

Here it is my experience with Dr Chere McCormick. I hope it will help you to make a choice if you are looking for a family doctor.I had symptoms that are typical for a cancer. My Family Dr left the clinic and in a hurry I made appointment with Dr Chere McCormick without checking the reviews. When making the appointment I asked for complete examination (which shouldnt be a special request). She made me wait in the examination room over 30 minutes after I already had waited for 10 minutes in the waiting room. She listened to my concerns and told me to make another appointment for examination. She sent me for a blood work, too. On the second appointment I waited less time but I didnt feel she listened to all my concerns. I waited to hear something about my blood test results. At the end I asked about them and she didnt know I had any! She went out, printed them and said they were good but I needed additional diagnostic. The assistant was not friendly either. I felt like I am doing… something wrong. After all tests were done she didnt release the results as soon they were out and I couldnt see them on MyChart. She wanted to see me (and charge me for the appointment). She was late again (15 minutes outside + 15 minutes inside the room) and believe me, when you expect to hear the worse of all diagnosis, any second counts. Once she came, she spent a few minutes to read the results from the computer. It was obvious she hadnt seen them before. She said it was not cancer and I should go to that surgeon to disembowel me for the tumors I have. She didnt use that word but the gesture showing taking out body organs still gives me nightmares. Instead, I went to see a specialist in Seattle and after another set of tests it was found that I dont need surgery.

Dr. McCormick is completely incompetent, disrespectful and was offensive. I wouldn't see this doctor again, and I would specifically recommend that people do not see her.
