Dr. Cheri Conley Johnston, MD

Dr. Cheri Johnston is judgmental, sarcastic, and belittling. She is also incompetent and unprofessional. Do not expect her or her office staff to respond to urgent patient portal messages or telephone calls. Attempts to reach her are absolutely futile and frustrating. Not sure how she retains any patients at all.

Quick to accuse of Dr. shopping. Office staff is nice but she is not a Dr you want to see. I want off the meds that I am on. Waited almost 2 hours after my appt time and after speaking with her, I realized I had made a mistake coming to this office. She had no plan, no future appointment and did not seem to care at all. Had I known that her reviews were in the 2s, I wouldn't have wasted my time. Hopefully this review will keep you from wasting yours.

The past few times that I have been to the office, I have been given unnecessary referrals instead of actual diagnosis and treatment. I have stated my educated opinion about causes which were dismissed. After appointments with specialists, my suspicions were confirmed. My problems could have been easily treated by an attentive family physician. Phone calls to the nurse and patient portal messages are not responded to. I have never had a problem with the office staff but the Dr. gets a clear thumbs down.

Two unprofessional experiences: My first appointment with Dr. Johnston was at 7am, she didn’t show up to the office until close to 8am. My second bad experience was calling for an appointment for my husband who can’t get there until 4:45 for an appointment and was told they close at 5:00 and their last appointments are at 4:30, so I will need to go to the ER instead. Really? Terrible customer service! I also watched a receptionist down a giant Weigel’s soda for breakfast once! Go find a better doctor!

Very aloof and condescending manner. Extremely pushy wanting to run many tests instead of being concerned with treating the existing issues. Too many annoying calls wanting to run additional tests

Dr. Cheri Johnston is very knowledgeable. After seeing 2 doctors, and 1 Nurse Practitioner, neither could give me a diagnosis; then I was blessed to get an appointment with Dr. Johnston. I wasn’t in the examination room 10 minutes when she suspected mono. She ordered some tests to be done & I was successfully diagnosed & treated. Thank you??

Intelligent, experienced physician. Felt very comfortable with her training, knowledge, planning and treatment. She is experienced with all ages, from newborn to the elderly.

A very professional compassionate physician.

Dr. Johnston is an excellent practitioner who takes the time to listen and is very caring with her patients. She has always taken wonderful care of my family.
