Dr. Cherryl L. Thomas, MD

Dr Thomas will never let you get a word in and is abrupt with answers when you can ask questions. Her staff is rude and hangs up on you then accuses you of inappropriate language when you simply want your medical records. I myself am a medical professional who communicates with medical professionals on a daily basis and would never recommend her to anyone in need of a good general practitioner

I've visited Dr. Thomas' office three times. The first two times, I arrived slightly late, so chalked long wait times up to that. The third time I arrived 20 minutes early, was supposedly the first patient to be seen that day, and still didn't see Dr. Thomas after almost an hour of waiting. I left without being seen after sitting in an exam room in my underwear for nearly 10 minutes.

I called for the first time to make an appointment with Dr. Thomas; the receptionist was very rude; she did not give me a chance to review what she told me. She hung up on me. I called back to confirm what she told me and she was almost yelling at me because I want to confirm what she told me, even though I told her I am very sick when I started talking to he because it was difficult for her to understand me. I know I will never go to Dr. Thomas, if she has staff like that, it means she does not care for her patients.

I needed an emergency referral to see a specialist. I called the office 3 times and did not receive a call back. I have an appointment next week but needed the referral now! On my 4th call I spoke with the office staff and was told that Dr Thomas would not see me or give me a referral until next week.
