Visited mount sinai west in 2022. Very condescending in explaining what an acl is. She didn’t want to do a CT scan. Turns out there were broken bones. I specifically asked a nurse to no longer interact it with and used one of the residents instead. One of the most unprofessional MDs I’ve ever met. Mount Sinai should be embarrassed.

Dr Chang was really helpful in a busy ER environment. I was in a lot of pain, and she helped solve things quickly. She constantly followed up with the other departments, and didn't take no for an answer. She has incredible knowledge and took a really wonderful step-by-step approach. Super appreciate her help!

Dr. Cheryl Chang works at Mount Sinai West and St. Luke's. I've been to the ER at both hospitals a few times and I've always been treated well by their other ER doctors. I was very surprised to see that Dr. Chang's bedside manner was very poor. She did not explain my condition well and rushed away before I could even ask my questions. When I tried to ask Dr. Chang again she responded in a very stern and annoyed way with a serious face as opposed to a friendly and reassuring one. As I was leaving, I overheard Dr. Chang cursed about me to I guess a resident or nurse, "what a f**ken annoying patient, good f**ken riddance" Mount Sinai should be ashamed of hiring someone like her who curses like she does and has terrible bedside manner.

I have no issue with Dr. Chang's expertise. However, I was aghast to find my insurance billed $935.00 for the 5 minutes she spent with me in the ER, where I went for gallstones. She came on shift hours after I appeared in the ER. In addition, 2 redundant charges, which her office reversed, appeared on the bill for a total of almost 1100.

Dr. Chang treated me for a kidney stone issue. She was very attentive, professional and made sure I was taken care of immediately. Herself and her team explained to me my condition, what my options were and the best treatment moving forward was. Hopefully I never have to go back to the emergency room, but if I do I know I will be well taken care of by Dr. Chang.

Horrible bedside manner and had no idea about a condition that she should have learned about in med school.
