Dr. Cheryl R. Goyne, MD

Cheryl Goyne is an absolutely horrible doctor. Her office: -put my appointment off another 2 months because "the doc scheduled a vacation" which made it over 7 months for me to wait -Cheryl, who needed me to wait 7 months, was late for the appt (she was not there when I arrived), had not looked at my chart at all before the appt -told me she couldnt give me any feedback or info inside the appt and instead needed to call me later that night -did not call me later and did not contact me again for over a week -then called me out of the blue after 6pm, BULLDOZED into a conversation, refused to let me speak at all (I literally had to keep repeating "stop interrupting me" to get her to let me talk at all), gave 4 different pieces of incorrect information, and hung up on me Cheryl wanted to give me a treatment for something she simultaneously told me my tests were negative for. A condition that for 9 months I was told by all her colleagues I didnt have, called nabusive, ignored, and… traumatized over, that I didnt have. Cheryl contradicted every single other doctor I have seen and that she works alongside. Cheryl tried to tell me my own medication from a compound pharmacy doesnt have B12 in it. According to the pharmacy, it sure does. Cheryl didnt say A WORD about the fact I have a syrinx in my spine. She couldn't have a comprehensive conversation about the conditions and criteria met on my MRIs, and beyond not knowing enough to have a conversation, she was so defensive that I did know and wanted to ask questions, she instead verbally abused me, hung up, and ended care. She never even wrote any visit notes in my chart. She expects patients to wait almost a year to see her so she can ignore them, labuse them, and then refuse to do her job. A neurologist who will waste your time and not give a single care about you. I am completely debilitated and have been suffering for decades. I have training in human development and applied neuroscience. This woman is so ableist, you wont be safe going to her and you wont get through a conversation even if you simply have ADHD or autism. She is too insecure to be able to listen to anyone. Cheryl, I hope you read this and understand that you not only are wrong about half of what you tried to pass off to me as facts, but you are confident in your ignorant ideas and wont even talk to your colleagues (or God forbid look up the condition I have at all) who know better. Trying to tell me what isnt in my medications, that my brain MALFORMATION is mild. Brain malformations that have debilitated a woman less than 40yrs old are not mild. Would you like a link to the youtube video by a globally renowned surgeon who specializes in the malformation talking about how 5mm criteria is problematic? Nah, you just wanna believe you know better than me about my own body and conditions I have more understanding of than you. I hope when Cheryl becomes disabled, she is forced to wait years for an appt, her doctor doesnt read her chart, she is isolated on a call with no witnesses outside of business hours, and her doctors interrupt her every sentence and tell her the wrong info. You deserve the same malpractice and neglect you give out. Youre an embarrassment to the suffrage movement, Cheryl.

Dr. Goyne is the best doctor I have ever had in my life! She changed my life for the better! I had no quality of life, because I was living in the worst Chronic pain anyone could imagine! I was almost bed ridden but now I am able to get out of bed and walk. I was truly blessed to find Dr. Goyne. She is patient and very kind. She listens to her patients and gives them her full attention in order to find out what is going on with you and figures out a way to help you. Not enough good words to express how fortunate I am to have such a brilliant doctor!!

Dr. Goynes is an excellent doctor ! Have been her patient almost 30 years.... I owe my life and quality of life to her !

This Dr. Ruined my life when she gave me meningitis after a cervical block. She never admitted her wrong doing and put me through tests of TB,,lymes dz.,and drugged me up.i have permenent damage and am on disability. Do not visit this doctor.

I have always had a very good experience while visiting Dr Goyne's office. She has a great staff, and Dr Goyne always takes the time to listen to what I have to say.

I first saw Dr. Goyne when she was at BPC. A friend of mine was working as one of her nurses and suggested I see her concerning fibromyalgia and migrains. Dr. Goyne worked with me tirelessly to find the right combination of exercise and medications to help me get my life back. I have had many doctors over the past 10 years that wanted to treat my symptoms but not help me find a way to improve my health overall. Dr. Goyne was an inspiration. Motivating me to not only treat the pain but to learn to work through it AND find what worked for me and my family. I highly recommend her for anyone looking to regain your life rather than just exsist with pain and depression.
