Dr. Cheryl Ann Kosarek, MD

My eyes were swollen shut after a treatment I called her office for an appointment only to be told Kosarek was out of town. I asked who covers for her and I was told that no one covers for her, she sees her own patience.

I've been a patient of hers for more than 15 years and during that time have been treated for skin cancer and acne and have had countless cosmetic procedures. She always enters the room with a warm and caring smile, listens thoughtfully, addresses your concerns and keeps tabs on you during procedures to make sure your comfortable. The office staff is amazing and knowledgeable regarding procedures and treatments. I highly recommend this doctor!

Received appointment quickly with a short notice, but prescription was not called into paharmacy, had to wait over the weekend to get issue corrected. Condition worsened over the weekend.

I saw Dr. Kosarek about two weeks ago, because I had a bad rash all over my body. Turns out I have Psoriasis. I kind of knew what it was since there are so many commercials on tv. Dr Kosarek was very polite and explained the diagnosis to the T. I felt much better about seeing how compassionate she was.

When I first went to her I mentioned all the products I was using in an attempt to self treat my acne. She didn't even bat an eye. Unfortunately, I later learned on my own that these aggressive treatments can inflame acne. Instead of finding the cause she only sought to treat the symptoms. This is always the case. She prescribed Accutane which is very toxic. I had also informed her of my medical history with PCOS. She never put two and two together that PCOS has been known to cause hormonal acne. Only after the toxic treatment of Acutane and continued acne did she consider maybe that the acne may be hormonal. Although I have tried to ask for suggestions on facial washes and acne treatments she will not recommend any products. Although she does have her staff discuss peels and laser treatments, she does not take the time to formulate a treatment or ingredients in a peel for your specific needs, she just leaves you with her staff so she can see the next patient. Treats the symptoms… without investigating or bothering to know the cause.

The fact that she's on time and courteous was awesome. But what I was impressed was the staffs knowledge. The girls there have beautiful skin and know a lot about the several skin care lines. They offered to do my makeup at no charge. I have been yo several detmatologist in town and all they want is to push prescriptions and products in my face. The staff here was very professional and courteous.I learned a lot from my 1 st office visit. And the best part is that I didn't have to wait! My acne problem is almost gone thanks to Veronica and Jennifer. Now I feel like my skin glows just like there's and it didn't even cost me 1,000 dollars like it did at Dr. Herman's office. I would highly recommend for anyone on a small budget yo go!

I had been going several times to her due to acne issues. Last time, I went there for an extraction. She had one of the assistants perform it. The assistant did a terrible job and now I have a scar on my face. The assistant even suggested I didn't have to come in for this and I could do it myself at home, obviously a sign that she did not know what she was doing. I can't believe Dr. Kosarek allows them to do this! I am really upset and will never come back again. My mother used to be a patient of hers as well and she hasn't been back for different reasons.

Doctor was very attentive and courteous. Gentle and professional. Highly recommended!
