This DR discussed personal medical information about her patient “my husband,” to a mutual friend. Isn’t this an HIPPA ACT—seems to me she violated the law. Not to mention their staff was very unprofessional when a hospital visit was needed for an EEG-strangely there was no order for it! Their (DR’s excuse was...Oh... we’re in the process of changing our computer systems. What a waste of time for him to go! As well a waste of time to go see Winchell! Be forewarned!

I am writing for my 70yr old mother. She loves Dr Winchell however she will not be returning. The staff is terrible. My mother has been told numerous times she would receive calls about her labs/follow up appts and they NEVER call. My mother has found a new Dr.

First off, I think Dr Winchell and her PA Becky are terrific. Unfortunately, they've surrounded themselves with the rudest, most incompetent staff imaginable. As much as I hate to do it, I may need to look for a new Dr.

I am changing doctors,

Lousy staff. Timid doctor.

Don't get sick because this doctor cannot see you on short notice. She takes a lot of time off and her office has no one to back her up. It is ok if you don't mind paying high emergency room bills. My wife has her as well and after a hospital stay a follow up was ordered by the hospital within 3 days. When we called the doctors office we were told she was booked solid for 2 months. This is not good health care. STAY AWAY!!

Most of the visits that I spent in the office were professionally and courteously handled, however I expected some warm kindness and an occasional cold beer or even a shot of Grey Goose but I was sadly disappointed.

My grandfather was nearing the end of his life. Not only was she very courteous and careful in the words she used, but she helped us make the switch to hospice and made calls to arrange everything within a day of the appointment. My grandfather always made things difficult for doctors, however she was very kind to him and was careful about end of life matters in front of him. she spoke to the family and his caretaker privately about the next option to take, and made the transition less difficult on us.
