Dr. Cheryl Danita Wright, MD

I have only had one appointment with her but she was extremely rude. I have had RA for 8 years with my previous doctor who was amazing, and she was trying to tell me he was wrong and tried to change my medications that were working for me. Would not recommend her to anyone.

This doctor saw me for 5 years before dropping me with out notice, and cancelled my prescriptions that she had written. She gave me no referrals. This I believe, was because I wrote a letter asking for a review of the clinic's pain policy as my pain was extreme and life altering. Subsequently a new doctor diagnosed me with Ankylosing Spondylitis, her visual of my hands was enough to give her a clue, it's a rheumatic disease within Dr Wright's specialties. With all the pain I continued to be in, why didn't Dr. Wright order testing? I had previously even asked her about remicade and embrel, her answer was always that I had osteoarthritis and those wouldn't work, that they were for Rhematoid Arthritis. The drug I am now, which has eliminated my pain, is in the same family as those drugs and is frequently used to treat Rhematoid Arthritis. A simple blood test would have put this all on track 5 years ago, but she couldn't be bothered to seek a solution.

She was not at all interested in my issues that have caused me great discomfort in my daily life. She failed to run any tests or give me any advice or exercises to help, she just told me to take the painkillers she prescribed and then tell her how I felt after several months. I have been with sharp my whole life and never have I been treated so poorly by a doctor. I am highly dissatisfied in my treatment and will never return to this doctor, I will be looking for opinions elsewhere.

she always seems to be too busy and I feel she has other plans other than her patients. As she was leaving our appointment she seemed rather rushed and I managed to quickly ask her about hand exercises I could do to help with the pain, her response was "go on line" as walked down the hall. I found her to be rude and uninterested. I am looking for another doctor. I would never recommend her. She gives Sharp a bad rap!

Three of my family members have seen her for many years. We have had care for a variety of conditions. She has been results oriented, helpful, and kind. I would recommend anyone to see her. She is very experienced. I drive 39 miles one way to see her!

Dr. Wright is a caring and intelligent and pleasant doctor and does not rush me. I think she has helped my condition improve. I would recommend her to a friend.

Worst Doctor ever. Rude and unprofessional. Poor bedside manners and doesn't listen. I would not recommend.

Dr. Wright is a very kind and wise doctor. She was willing to listen to my list of symptoms and go from there. She ran tests and was quick to know what was wrong. She has a great bedside manner which is important in patient care. Thank you Dr. Wright!

Dr. Wright is a caring, thorough Physician. She really listens and doesn't just "phone it in"... I'm difficult because of many different health issues, she has been working with me to find the correct treatment for my Fibromyalgia, bursitis and other joint pain. She is an excellent diagnotician and I love her upfront, no nonsense manner... My husband was recently referred to her and he always complains about Dr,'s - even he thinks highly of Dr. Wright...
