Dr. Chester Robert Badger, DO

Didn'tcheck my heart rate .only spent 60seconds nolab work changed meds wwithout talking about it

I arrived early. I paid my bill as asked. I saw Dr. Chester Badger. He kept staring down and talking to his laptop. I had to repeatedly ask him to repeat himself so that I could understand what he was saying. I asked for another prescription of my amlodipine for my blood pressure. Badger refused and then threw me out of his office. I am 67 and this was the first time in my life I have ever been thrown out of a medical office!!!! Badger seemed like he was on something.

Something is not right about this dr. Saw him while waiting on a referral to a pain clinic for a very painful bulging disc that pinches a nerve to my left arm. Agreed to fill my prescription for oxycodone, which I have taken on and off for 3 years, until my appointment at a pain clinic 6 weeks later. Filled the first month then with no explanation refused to refill for the remaining 10 days after agreeing to do so a week prior leaving me in a great deal of pain when I could have sought treatment with another Dr. had I known he was shady.Interesting fact is this same Dr. was sanctioned in another state for substance abuse and placed on probation then licensed in IA with a number of conditions.

Spent more time looking at the computer than he did at me. Seems to be nice enough but does not seem to be "present" with you during exam.
