Dr. Chetana Kripalu, MD

I am satisfied with Dr. Chetana’s caring and upstanding for me. We discuss how I should take care of my health and physical overall being. She does listen and gives me constructive advise. It is up to me to follow and I have done so with outstanding results. I have never had to wait to see her. I like too the availability of getting blood work done in the office. Sometimes the staff will call to ask how am doing and do I need refills. In closing whatever doctor you go to make sure you ask questions because you have to be an advocate for your health especially once you reach the age of 70.

HORRIBLE and UNETHICAL. Dr. Kirapalu may be a good Doctor, but her Staff is horrendous. I have had several instances now, where just calling to get a Rx refilled, has led to me being threatened by her disrespectful Staff, particularly a horrible girl named "Isis". Most recently while standing at the pharmacy counter to get an Rx refilled, of which i had a refill remaining, we learned that the date for the refill had expired. So the Pharmacist and I both called Trinity. "Isis", with her horrible attitude agreed to call in a tiny supply as long as I agreed to schedule an appointment, which I did for 3 days later. She said she would call authorize 2 pills, to get me to the appointment. I explained that 3 pills would be required, as my appointment was for 3 days away. She flat out REFUSED to authorize 3 pills, instead of 2. She also said that "if i continued to question her about it, she would refuse to authorize anything". ??? Thats right, a Medical provider, knowing that it… was in my best interest as a patient to authorize medication to get me to my next appointment, just threatened me out of SPITE, to leave me without medication. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!. This also is NOT the first time something egregious has happened when interacting with the Staff at Trinity. Shame on Dr Kirapalu for allowing her Staff to behave in this manner. She has been made aware of this issue in the past, with me sending her a certified letter. i also spoke with her face to face about her staff behaving like this. There is a professional and ethical responsibility at play here, and it supersedes interpersonal dynamics or EGO. There is NO SCENARIO where it should be acceptable for a Medical Office to threaten to deny a patient medication out of SPITE. I want to say again, the threaten to deny medication had nothing to do with policy, procedure, regulation or otherwise. The temporary Rx had already been agreed to. This was simply a case of a HORRIBLE, NASTY employee who was obviously having a bad day, using her very limited "authority" in this particular situation, to satisfy her ego. I will be fining a complaint with the division of Professional Regulation in Delaware. Be warned, and seriously consider an alternative. Being a good Doctor is not enough. If you allow your Staff to neglect a patient, out of SPITE, then you should not be practicing.

We are new to the practice. The office staff is some friendly, helpful and very nice. Love the doctor. She is so refreshing.

This was my first visit and it was pleasurable. Plenty of parking available.Staff greeted me with smiles and were kind. There was no wait time (less than 5 mins). Dr. Kripalu was beautiful, very informative and kind. She spend time with me. She explained things, gave examples and suggestions. She has a warm hearted spirit.
