Dr. Rao and her staff are very friendly, courteous and kind. She is genuinely concerned about patient wellbeing and takes the time to discuss any issues affecting patients.

Dr. Rao Chethana examining my wife today Feb.25.2019 showed herself being very arrogant, bossy and unprofessional. Her initial contact with us was very fake and she immediately switched to her real self that I described above. My wife who has thyroid asked her for referral to a Thyroid specialist. Dr. Rao angrily replied why do you want to see a specialist, That doesn’t make me happy. Which tells you that her state of happiness is more important than your health. She doesn’t appreciate the fact that she is paid by the patients. The income she generates from the patients supports her arrogant lifestyle. Therefore she owes it to the patients to be nice, respectful and answer any questions that they may have. That’s professionalism even if she doesn’t really care about them which is sad. Couple of weeks ago she ordered my wife to do ultrasound right the way which she did. We indicated the urgency of the test to the radiologist. She said “ your doctor will have the result by tomorrow… “. It took 5 days and couple of repeated calls to her office for Dr.Rao to read the result and to tell us what she thinks. At the end of today’s visit I was trying to ask her why she was not happy to give my wife referral to a specialist. She didn’t reply to us. Instead she opened the door left the room. We left the room too. We saw her in the hallway. I told her that she didn’t answer our questions. She said we have to leave otherwise she will call 911. I told her that I will write a review on her. She said she doesn’t care about reviews.

My insurance recently changed, so I had to find a new GP for my annual physical. I went to see Dr. Rao but saw her NP Surin Rodino. I ended up being charges $163 dollars for an office visit and I am now finding out since I asked for referrals this made my annual an office visit. So WARNING you cannot go to this Dr’s office and discuss anything for your annual physical or you will be charged! This office is not accommodating, the building and medical advice you will receive is substandard.

Dr. Rao came highly referred by a friend. She is truly exceptional. She put me at complete ease within the first minute of meeting her and gave a compassionate ear while I rattled out my novice observations. Her team is super efficient that compliments Dr. Rao. Just within 3 weeks of starting out under her guidance, positive results have started showing. Highly recommend Dr.Rao.

By the third visit she told me to find another PCP because I didn't want to go to the doctors she suggested, I wanted to keep my specialists. She saw how sick I was and yet pretty much fired me as her patient. Beware of this one. Not worth it to spend your time or money going to her.

Does not seem to care about patients and more interested in money rather than service.I would never recommend her even to an enemy

Dr. Rao is very easy to talk to. She follows up with you promptly about your results. Prima medicine has a great online system in place that let's you see your results and make appointments on just a click a way. Would recommend her any day.

Dr. Rao and her staff were very courteous, pleasant and helpful. The Doctor took time to talk to me about my health issues and was not in a hurry. I would recommend this practice to everybody that I know and live in the Fairfax area
